Genevieve sprinted hearing the other two close behind. She kept her eyes open watching various rodents scurry on the dead leaves of the woods floor. She came to a sudden stop and stared into the distance. Stopping the other two as they caught up.
"Shh... look," she pointed straight ahead. There was a moose in the distance. It had been a while since the last time she had seen one. Now of animal blood this definitely beat out the rodents by a long shot.

Eli skidded to a stop just behind Genevieve, wondering what she'd spotted. He crouched lower, glancing off in the direction she pointed. There it sat, munching on some foliage: the biggest natural prey animal they could have possibly hoped for. Moose hadn't been seen in years, having been mostly picked off long ago. Eli's stomach rumbled just thinking about how much blood was running through a creature of that size.
He grinned in excitement. He couldn't believe their luck. There would be enough to easily fill all three of them for the rest of the night. He scanned their options. It was facing them. They would have to circle around to come up behind it... maybe have one in front to herd it if possible. He looked at the others, whispering, "I'll go left, you go right? Ben, you're biggest, you get in front of it, cut it it off..."

Ben came to a sudden stop. Genevieve and Eli had spotted something. He hated stopping quickly from running fast. It made him angry. "What the hell are you-" He stopped yelling as he saw the Moose. Big, juicy, and alive. This was a rare find. He mostly wanted to go and eat it and leave none for the others. But he knew what they'd do to him if he did.
He was raring to go get it. Waiting for the signal. The moose stared at them. It looked amazing and delicious. He acknowlegded the signal and waited for the others to get into position before charging straight at the moose.

Genevieve skidded right and stayed low as she circled around. Startling it now could ruin everything... Not to mention the fact that the other two would be absolutely furious. And she'd probably just take her anger out on the lynx boy back home.
She could still spot Eli as she got into position. Once the signal was given they'd have to move quickly. At least there were three of them, which made things a little bit easier.

Eli snuck off to the left, doing his best not to crush any twigs or pinecones under his boots. Moose weren't quite as tuned in as deer were, but they were still aware creatures, and he didn't want to risk alerting such a major piece of prey. He kept low, slinking behind bushes as swiftly as possible to get around to the side of the moose.
He paused finally, making sure to note where Genevieve was crouched. He held up a hand, hoping they could both see him, three fingers in the air. He dropped a finger. Two. One... Go! he thought, as he made a quick point and then took off towards the moose, his focus lying directly on it's back, it's veins calling out to him as he rushed towards it.

Ben's mouth watered. He was getting incredibly impatient. The mooses' eyes seemed to be staring into his. Genevieve and Eli were taking forever to get into position. Even though stealthiness was important not to scare the moose away, Ben hated going slow. If he was alone he would have taken it down by now.
He saw Eli start running. He must have missed the signal. He sprinted forward, hoping to beat Eli to the moose. Ben was very competitive when it came to hunting. He'd always try and prove he was superior to the other Vampires. Eli was fast though.

Seeing the signal from Eli she sprinted. Glancing to the side seeing Ben eye Eli. those two were so competitive. For a while she was under the impression that Ben had a small thing for Eli and that he was just to chicken to say anything. She never said anything though, the last thing she needed was to start a fight over something like that.
They closed in on the moose and Genevieve could almost taste the blood already.

Thankfully it was past mating season, so they didn't have to worry about antlers turning into battering rams. Or, maybe it was a girl moose. Eli couldn't tell, and frankly he didn't care. All he wanted was it's blood.
He could see Ben was trying to compete with him. It almost made him laugh. Ben was stronger, sure, but they were close to the same height and Eli was lighter. He had always been more agile than the other male. No competition. He didn't even bother speeding up. Ben could show off all he wanted and Eli would still reach the moose first. Allllll compensation, boy...
He leaped, planting his hands on the moose's back just as it finally noticed them and began to react. Too late. Eli's right leg flew over the back of it and he was straddling it, getting a tight hold on the moose's ears in order to hold on.
"Yeeehawww!" He crowed atop his tasty new steed. "Moose is on the menu, guys and gals!!"

Even though Ben was trying to go as fast as he could to beat him, Eli still got to the moose first. Ben ignored his frustration that he lost and attacked. Eli jumped onto the moose while Ben jumped onto the head of the moose.
He held on to one ear with one hand and with the other he tried to claw at it's face with his slightly dull fingernails. He managed to swipe and cut the skin on the nose of the moose. This thing was a massive monster. It swung it's head and he fell off, hard onto the grass. Fiking thing... He thought.

Genevieve moved to try and take out the legs to bring it down. Something about the scent seemed off but she kept moving anyway. The moose made a horrifying noise and suddenly amongst it's struggling started to change. It's weird noises were changing to what sounded like more human yelling. Oh great... this isn't a moose... It's a Were...
"It's a fiking Were!" She growled and instantly let go. She was not happy to see the moose form disappear. The human like face that appeared, though full of fear made her feel like a joke. "Ahhhrrr!" she shrieked in frustration. The moose boy cowered under the sight of the three vampires.

"YEHAW!" Genevieve's words took a moment to sink in, and by the time they're registered in Eli's mind, it was almost too late. "...wait wha--AHHH!"
He landed with a thump to the forest floor as the moose shrank underneath him and knocked him off. He cursed as he rubbed his backside in a bit of a daze, but then snapped his attention to the naked young man now in front of them in place of the moose. "Oh for FIKSSAKE!!!" he snapped. He scrambled to his feet, dusting off his pants, and then kicked the boy. "You fiking tease!!"

Benjamin looked at the moose as it changed into a boy. "What the FIK!!" He yelled. Genevieve let it go and Eli kicked him. He pounced onto him now that it was revealed that it was a were-moose. He grabbed his neck and tried to snap it in extreme anger. He struggled too much that his head came free from his hands. He had hoped the moose would be something he could feed on but if they had, it would have killed them. Or just made them sick.
He suddenly realized that he was lying atop a naked boy. Ben quickly jumped up and brushed himself off. "Ughk" He grunted while brushing himself off. "Son of a--" He swore. He glared at Genevieve. "You wasted my fiking time with this damn were!"

"Dont you pin this on me! How the fik was I supposed to know it was a Were?!" She snapped back at Ben. "I see a moose, I think of food! I don't go, oh maybe I shouldn't try and feed... It could be a Were. Naw I'll just starve myself and not even try!" She snorted.
The only plus side to the fact that he was a Were was that his human appearance was not too bad to look at. she was tempted to keep him... but the look on his face screamed pathetic. He probably couldn't take much.

"He's not even running away!! What a dumbass!!" Eli kicked the were again, causing him to finally start scrambling and crawling away from him. Eli crouched down to look at him better, grabbing him by his chin and turning his head from side to side. "Waste of time, waste of energy. This scrawny shit's not even worth taking back with us..." Eli snarled in his face, letting him go with a toss of the boy's head.
He couldn't believe a were-moose could even end up so small in his other form. This one was far too easy to overpower in so many ways. He stood back up, running his tongue across his fangs in increasing hunger and frustration. "If we're hunting weres lets at least look for something that will put up a fight, or let's just fiking go home and drink that bagged crap that tastes like ass. My mood is royally destroyed for the evening."

Ben just glared at Genevieve. He had no good comeback or anything to say at all that would make him sound like a total idiot. He switched his glare over at the terrified Were. Eli kicked him, again. He would have laughed if he weren't so angry at everything. "FIK!"
"Ass is better than starving!" He didn't care how bad that sounded. He stormed off back in the direction of the mansion, stopped, paused for a second, then turned back around and ran towards Eli. Hoping to get some good hits in before he defended himself. There was no reason to do so. Ben was just so frustrated. "Piece of shit!" He spat out.
