Every day seemed to be the same, What good was immortality alone? Even the flowers seemed to feel the change, Their petals welting at the edges, no matter how hard Adara tried her song's could not reach the little flower's. Aggravated, her bare feet stomped through the forest, Long blue dress flowing out behind her as she moved. Her curly brown hair tied in a long loose braid and thrown across her shoulder, a few loose strands fell to tickle her cheek. The air was cool, and as always fresh, There was no stench of fuel here and the planet had life. Tree's shot up around her, Their limbs dancing high in the sky.
The world around her was beautiful, Just as she. What good was beauty? What good did it ever do. Moving alone, there was no happy ending, Other elves passed her moving in cluster's. Their weary eye's studying her angry features with curiosity. There was her destination, A large willow that hung over a river. It's long tendrils tickling the top of the water in the breeze, Beside the river stood a little stone bench. Ivy covered the leg's of the bench, and all along the ground.. This, This was her place of refuge.
With a sigh of relief, her hands sought the solitude of the stone bench. Feeling the names of her Family carved into it's features. A soft smile trying to shine on her lip's. Her toes dipped into the water, she sighed again. Wondering where he could be..

Reese had wandered away from the spaceport and managed to get himself a bit lost. He had followed bird trying to figure out what species it was but lost it. He glanced around realizing he didn't know where exactly he was, was he supposed to follow the little bit of water back? He shoved his notebook into his bag and spotted someone sitting on a stone bench. Maybe she could help him out.
He slowly approached trying not to be a bit awkward. She seemed like she was thinking about something and he hesitated feeling bad for disturbing her. "Uhh... E-excuse me? I... I think I'm a little lost..." He scratched at his head. "I don't really know where I am..."

Keen elven ear's twitched lightly, and her head quickly spun around to look at the Stranger approaching. He seemed a bit awkward, Perhaps lost. She tilted her head, Brown eye's staring at him full of questions and wonder, She knew this boy was a human. Rising slowly, she patted her dress, The train billowing out behind her.
His words were uttered in chunks, Unlike the music like lyrics her own kind sang when they spoke. She smiled softly, Though kindness wasn't in her eye's, "You are deep in the forests, Far from the Spaceport. Is that where you wish to be?" she asked lightly, Her tone soft yet her words rolled off her tongue in such a sweet melodic tone. Her creamy flesh warmed in the sunlight that reached down to them from the cracks in the Tree's, The tree's swayed gently in the breeze and a few birds sang as they fluttered on by.

Far from the spaceport? Awe crap... "Oh dear..." He paused and looked around. He didn't mean to wander off the way he did. He just wanted to know what the brightly colored bird was. It was one he didn't remember seeing before. "No. I wanted to be by the spaceport but I saw this bird and I... Oh whats the use..." He sat on a near by rock.
This happened too often, he got himself into situations that he didn't even realize until it was too late. At least this wasn't really a dangerous situation. Or it didn't seem like it. This girl must not have been human. She seemed too graceful. "I'm sorry..."

"Oh Dear, No. I wanted to be by the spaceport but I saw this bird and I... Oh whats the use..."
She tilted her head slightly, Listening to each word analyzing his every movement. Studying him, Learning him. "A bird? " she questioned lightly, Why would a human concern himself with a bird of Antheia.. It was odd. Never had a human, Or one that she had seen wandered so far only for a bird.
Watching as he moved to sit upon a rock, She took that movement and made her own. Her long leg's moved forward, blue silk flowing out behind her as she moved, Beauty etched upon every feature. Only saddness lingered deep in her brown eye's.
"I'm Sorry.."
She quickly stopped, Eyeing him closely she slowly kneeled down so she was at his level. "You are far from the spaceport, Farther then any human would travel for a bird. Do you like the animals here on my Queen's lands.." she asked softly, not in a threatening manner, but simply to quench her burning curiousity. "I was blessed with Adara as my Calling, You are?" she asked of him again tilting her head as she stared at him. One little pointy ear poked out from her curls as she did so, but she made no move to hide it.

"I study animals, I like to watch and learn about them. I had never seen a bird like that before so I was curious as to what it was so I followed it... And well I got lost." He glanced up at her. Adara? That's her name right? Her speech was so much more formal than his own babbling he now seemed a little embarrassed.
"My name? Oh, Reese Emerson." He made a small awkward smile. He spotted the point on one of her ears, Yup an elf. I really must have wandered far... The elves usually stayed in the forests and didn't often come out to the Spaceport and areas now populated with humans. They stuck to the forests burying themselves in the nature, not wanting much to do with the destruction of the human race.

"I study animals, I like to watch and learn about them. I had never seen a bird like that before so I was curious as to what it was so I followed it... And well I got lost."
A soft music like laugh passed through her lips, as a smile graced her pink lips "You must have followed him very far, Most humans shy away from here.." she stated softly. He was kinder then most of the Humans, Many carried objects meant to harm the animals of her home. Yet this one, Carried none. He was interested in learning of them, Rather then killing them or trapping them.
"My name? Oh, Reese Emerson."
Adara's sweet smile still lingered, broader now as he babbled on "It's a pleasure to meet you Reese Emerson." She could tell he saw her ear, and yet he made no remark of it. It didn't seem to bother him that she wasn't human much like him.. His eyes were so kind and sweet, So much like Enan's.. she sighed softly and stood back up. Her back turned to him, she smiled and took a deep breath in, washing away the painful memories. "Come, I will show you the bird you were seeking.." she gently motioned for him to follow her, and took off walking. Her bare feet moved about the ground with a grace that was perhaps hard to match by any human, She turned to look back at him softly before pulling back some ferns, Showing a clearning surrounded by tall tree's, a small pond lay in the middle.
The sound of many birds singing could instantly be heard, and she motioned for him to go in "Here.. Is this the bird you were seeking?" she asked, Pointing to the one's nosing around in the short grass...

As she motioned for him to follow he quickly got to his feet. "Oh really?!" He smiled happily and followed her. He wasn't nearly as graceful as she was, his shoes crunching some of the fallen leaves. He tried to step lightly but wasn't very successful.
As she moved the ferns he slowly glanced in and his face lite up. There were a few of the brightly colored bird. He pulled out his eInkr and paused. "May I take a picture?" he asked just in case he wasn't supposed to. But having a photograph would make things easier for later if and when he left Antheia.

She smiled softly, Glad that he asked. "Of course.." she spoke softly, so not to startle the birds. It was nice to have a human appreciate her world, and all its creature's. View them as living creature's rather then a bag of money. These woods were alive with thousands of creature's, all peeking from the tree's, Appearing from the shadows. They to feared the humans.
Adara stood there and let Reese take the picture's, A warm smile on her face as she watched the little birds play and eat among one another in the grass. What wonderous creatures they were, She loved them. This is where she spent most of her time.. Here hidden away in the woods. It was nice to have someone speak to her, Even if it wasn't who she wished so badly for it to be..

The pictures weren't perfect but he wasn't a photographer with some fancy camera. All he had was his eInkr with a small built in camera, but that was good enough for him. He watched them hop around and took a few notes down as well. "Why would someone want to keep something so great all bared up in a cage?" he spoke quietly and made a small sigh.. He didn't particularly like zoos. The only plus side to them was the fact that he could see a few of the animals up close. But being in a zoo the animals never fully develop the same behaviors as in the wild.
He loved the peaceful nature of Antheia. The people were kind, the air was fresh and it was so much less crowded than Terra. He would be sad to leave, but he would get to explore some of the other planets as well, which made it alright in the end.

"Why would someone want to keep something so great all bared up in a cage?"
She heard his question, and sighed softly herself. "It is the question my people have been searching for, For some time now.." she spoke quietly, Eyeing Reese yet again. Antheia was a glourious planet so rich with life, and yet still the humans came. They will go anywhere and terrorize the Planet till it runs dry, Poor race. They could never stop and smell the roses, Live life and feel the world around them alive. Yet, this one did. He seemed rather enthused with the birds, thus she smiled. "You are much different then the other's, You like the creature's here for what they are.. not for their worth.." she stated softly. Now if only all the humans could become this way..
She moved away from the ferns, A hole still visible letting him watch them still if he wanted as she moved away. Her hands running along the tree's that she passed, Her finger's feeling the rough bark beneath them, she rounded one and leaned against it Watching reese with soft eye's.. "Why are you here on Antheia so far from Terra?" she asked curiously.

He made another small smile and turned to her, "There's so much more here. You go back home and all you see is metal, metal and more metal. There's no green... Not like here. Here, the air is clean, the sky is bright..." He stood up leaving the birds to their playing. "Back on Terra the wild life is gone, the disgusting cities engulfed the planet forcing everything else out. But this! Is just amazing." He looked up and around.
Despite being lost he couldn't help but marvel in the green and fresh air. He liked being able to feel a nice cool breeze once and a while and not getting an elbow to the ribs every five seconds in the massive crowds on Terra. "I would give anything to have peace like this on that planet."

She smiled, Listening to him explain his love for her planet. Wrinkling her nose slightly, as he explained of his metal home. What kind of life could that be with no Trees! No flowers! It wouldn't be a life.. Especially with no wildlife. These Humans destroy everything they touch, and yet again she felt disgust build up in the back of her throat.
Not at Reese, but at his race. The simple minded creature's that knew only how to breed, and destroy. "Antheia is a pure place, One of the few left. Why would you return to Terra?" she asked softly. Why would you want to leave this place, and return to that?
She knelt down, and scooped a pile of dirt into her hand, she smiled softly eyeing a small plant that poked from the dirt. It's little green limbs streching to the light, "There is life here, Whether it is large or small it all lives.. On terra, do your people see that everyday they kill what life is left?" she asked softly, Returning the small plant back to the dirt carefully, Patting the soil around it before standing straight again. "Soon your people will have no Planet, Only metal to survive off..." she uttered this softly, They would try to come here. But she was sure the Queen and King would have no such thing as letting the humans ruin their planet as well.

"Oh I don't really want to go back. If I leave here, it would be to see other planets and what they have to offer in terms of nature and wild life." He smiled as she lifted the little green plant. It was true, the humans did destroy everything in their path.
"It pretty much already is all metal. It's stupid. Not to mention the 3 levels that people seemed to be forced into. They've got the top for the rich people, the inbetween for your average income people and the below for the poor and very unfortunate. Yet no one ever helps... The rich get richer and poor get poorer..." He came from the top himself but he hated it there, growing up with no friends and nothing to do he often envied those in the level just below him. When younger he even found himself tossing credits over the side of the floating platforms to try and help those below him.

She listened carefully, watching him as he spoke then her lips parted and her own melody flowed from them "I see, There is life on these other's worlds around us?" she asked curiously. She had never seen nor heard of the other planets, all except Terra.. she knew the names but nothing really about them.

As he spoke, she tilted her head. She knew nothing about money, being poor for her people were rich from the lands. Not in wealth but in life, They made everything from the earth they so very loved.. so when he spoke of being rich and poor, she appeared rather confused. "Poor?" she mumbled softly. Whatever it meant, the way he said it sounded so sad.
