He sort of snapped back with a start of a smile. "Types? Oh jeez, pretty much any fuzzy mammal you can think of. They range from the tiny little rodents, which I think would be a bit embarrassing to say the least, and then up to big cats" He seemed a little smug at the mention of the big cats and his small smile grew a little bit. The big cats were some of the more powerful and important Weres. But the Bears, they usually kept to themselves even thought they could have easily taken some power amongst their people but chose not to. Why? He had no idea...
He was gonna try his best to let her figure out what his animal side was. It was more fun that way then telling someone out right, hey guess what, I'm a lion! But for added effect you needed a perfectly timed thumbs up.

It wasn't hard to note the way he spoke of the 'Big Cats' Perhaps he was one of those Big Kitties (^_^) or he just really envied the one's who were blessed with the Were side of a Large Carnivore versus the role of a small rodent. She chuckled at him, What could he be? The thought had racked her brain from the moment he told her he was a Were. Was he a powerful Cat.. A cuddly teddy bear.. A small rodent. Gosh.. With all these options she couldn't just outright guess. Pulling her hand away from him, she clasped them together in her lap "Give me a little clue.. Are you.. Large or Tiny? Carnivore or Herbivore? " she asked softly. Hey, give the girl a break!

Terence chuckled. Large or tiny? Well... He could answer that one two different ways. He tried not to laugh as he replied, "I'm large. On both accounts." He smirked and quickly added, "Not a Herbivore, digesting too much green doesn't like to agree with me."
"Well lets see, are you a cat person or a dog person? Remember, this could make or break our friendship," he teased. It really didn't matter, he was just having fun with it.

"I'm large. On both accounts."
A smile broke across her face, Her white teeth shining with all their glory, She gently gave him a soft pop on the arm as she laughed. "Anyways.." she giggled softly, letting her hand wave that thought from her brain as he continued..
"Not a Herbivore, digesting too much green doesn't like to agree with me."
Hmm, So let's see.. He was a Large Carnivore. Liked Big Cat's, Or at least he acted that way. The photos of the Female Lioness' on the wall. She gave a devilish smirk her eye's squinted playfully as he spoke again..
"Well lets see, are you a cat person or a dog person? Remember, this could make or break our friendship,"
"Well to be honest, I've never really had any sort of interaction with either one, but I like the Large Kitties I suppose. They seem sweet. " chuckling as she spoke. Large Kitties. She had seen photos of large cat's..The tiger's, and Lion's. Ohh and the Black panther's. But she had a small suspicion of what he was.
"Sooo, Terence.. I think I have a feeling what your Were is!" she stated slyly. At this point it had to be one thing.. A lion. It all made sense.. The Photo's on the walls, Big cat.. I mean Large cat. Yup. It had to be that.. If not she would be totally stumped..

He figured he had set it up to be a not so challenging guess. "Ahh good, a kitty lover." he smiled. Come on it cant be that hard, I believe in you!
"Ooh, now I'm curious as to what you're thinking," He shifted how he was sitting and rested his chin on his hands like a little kid waiting for a bed time story. "Go on, guess." He smiled happily awaiting her thoughts.

Celyn chuckeld softly, he was such a goof ball. Pulling her leg's beneath her she sat on her knee's, Hands just lingering around her side's.. She gave a minute, Looking as if she was in deep thought.. then she smiled "I think.. You are... a Lion!" she stated softly. Excited and sure she was right..

"And there you have it." He grinned. She got it bang on. Well it shouldn't have been that hard to figure out. She was so cute.
"Now," He paused and sat up again. "The sad part, and another reason I keep the were a secret is, there are some sick freaks out there who like to pay select poachers out there for the animal part of a Were's skin. Why? No idea. And occasionally they make their way to Nox and try and find the big ones that wander out of our safe areas." He stated, "But the great part and the only reason I'd ever actually thank the Vampires, is they generally find the poachers before they find us." He kind of guessed that it was because many of the animals the Weres could be, were rare or extinct on Terra. Most were shoved into zoos to try and keep them alive.

Her smile broadened, Yup that little bit of pride grew just a bit. It was great, him being so honest with her. Plus she got it right the first time, Thoughts of a Large Lion walking the hall's of the ship began playing in her mind. The large thick mane rough beneath her fingertip's, Large tail thumping against the medal wall's. She chuckeld softly to herself. Maybe one day she could see that side of him, When he was comfortable enough to show her..

She shook her head, Saddened by her own race. They were so cruel and relentless in their need to cause other's so much pain. She could only imagine the look upon the Were's face's as they were forced to sit and rot in zoo's.. or be killed just for their skin. How could you kill any creature so merciless and seek out money for it? She gave a angry scoff "I hate my Race.. ugh.. Humans are filthy creature's.." how could there be something so wonderful as Terence be sitting here talking to something as awful as she? A human. What good did they ever do?
"Well, If the Vampire's could do any good.. I guess that would be the only one.." she chuckled softly. Still upset, Just mainly with herself. She wished she could change so many thing's.. The way the Humans treated the other Race's.. How they dicrimanated against them. Killed them. Used them. It was beyond ridiculous and frustrating.

If Terence was completely worried about Humans, he would have stayed on Nox his whole life. Naw, he only kept his secret to be careful. He knew it was only a select few that would hate him but didn't really wanna take a chance. But usually people aren't too fond of Weres because they only hear the nasty stories of Nox and the Weres that couldn't control themselves. They have their main areas that are safe where the Vampires wouldn't dare go or risk getting swarmed by the patrol.

There was that smile, That happy carefree smile of his that she loved. The way the corner's of his mouth curved in a fashion that caused his little scruffes (lol) to crinkle up, She loved it. The smile that quickly crossed her lip's was brighter then before "Thanks.. I hadn't thought about that. I guess I owe him an apology" she gave a warm pat on his arm.. She kenw that well when The ship was his only way off the planent Nox and he was alone, That well.. Perhaps his friend hadn't been able to join him on his escape.
A sweetheart? Celyn chuckled again "Well thank's.. You're like a big teddy bear yourself." Even if she just met him, He was like a really good friend. He'd opened up and told her more then many had ever told her in a lifetime. She liked that about him, She wouldn't betray his trust.. Why would she? What would she get out of it? "So, Do you have any family on Nox?" she asked softly...

I visit occasionally which keeps them happy, but I think what really makes them happy are the little presents with pink bows." He couldn't resist adding the last bit in. Even though the presents he brought were generally food deliveries. because of the riskier hunting grounds with less food in them they were running into more and more of the Vampires also in search of food. It wasn't a very stable ecosystem to say the least.
"Maybe if your up to it, next time I go down there you can come. I assure you the area is safe, unless you wander off past our territory borders." It would be a bit before he went back but it would be nice to have someone tag along for the adventure.

She smiled, It was always nice to have someone to go visit. Especially family. "Thats nice of you, I'm glad you visit them regularly."

Her warm smile broadened, "Of course! I'd love to go! I mean.. Yeah, I'll go." she chuckled. Wow.. It would be her first time ever to leave Terra, a good change. It would be nice to just get a way from the stench of fuel and crowded people. It would be nice to smell like Vanilla for a little while.
She didn't exactly know what he meant by the little presents with pink bows, but she could only guess. With the food population on Nox dwindling it wasn't hard to guess that the Were food supply was dwindling down extremely low.. Those vampire's were sucking everything dry, it wouldn't be to long before the Were's were left with nothing to eat.. "Hey Terence, Can Were's eat Vampire's?" she asked curiuosly.. Why didnt' the were's just kill the Vampier's.. She knew the question was probably a silly one to ask.. but she didn't know.

He was happy she even considered going with him. It'd be a nice change from his visits alone.
"Well considering Vampires are basically walking dead... They taste like rot. You can eat them, but they taste horrible and leave you sick for a month after one bite. So I wouldn't recommend it to any other weres..." He couldn't help but laugh a bit thinking back to his own stupidity when he was still living on Nox. He tried it once, even though he was told not to. He only took a bite. It wasn't too long before he wished he didn't.
"It's kind of like how they cant feed off of us. something about our blood doesn't agree with them." It was a clever world design but also very unstable. The two races were fighting for the same food source without being able to feed off of each other. Their food started to lessen and the tension started growing.

"Ohh, I see. well that's understandable.. I didn't think about them being the Walking Dead.. Ick.." she chuckled softly. Thinking about their still hearts and blood made out of dust. Who ever created those creature's was perhaps just as sick as they are.. She shivered softly, and rubbed her hands up and down her arms.

That was odd, The were could easily have wiped out the Vampire population year's ago, If only they could kill them. Eat them. Rip them apart.. She sighed. "It's like you were created to be the perfect one's to kill them.. and they you.. but neither of you can bite one another.. It's so strange." she spoke softly, Just lingering on her thoughts. The battle between them had been ancienct, even more now as the food supply was dying more and more everyday.
Little goosebumps covered her leg's, For some reason she was cold. Perhaps thinking of the vampires cold skin.. Or just the fact that her hair was just beginning to dry, Either way she gave a quick shiver before she spoke again "Does your family.. Like Humans?" she asked softly.. There were still a few Were who were a bit untrusting towards humans.. she hoped his wasn't the human hating type..

It was a weird fact that the two really had quite the defense against each other like that but it was also a good thing. If the Were's were able to be used as food they would have probably ben killed off long ago. "I mean, I've killed my share of Vampires mostly out of sheer hate... but I'm sure many of them have done the same to us."
"My Family, as far as I know, hasn't had a major dispute with any humans so far." Terence answered, "I mean there was an incident on Nox when the Humans first arrived... But many of the Weres involved mostly just take it as a misunderstanding because the Vampires were the ones that had really caused the chaos that had happened. There are a few though who do hold grudges." After all why would humans still choose to go there if the Weres all hated them. they wouldn't be safe.
