Sol blinked in complete surprise at Booker's outburst, and especially how quickly he'd gone back to his wide smile. To be honest, it kind of freaked him out. At least the man was passionate... Sol just hoped he wasn't passionate in the I'll-Randomly-Kill-You-In-Your-Sleep way.
"Uh..." he cleared his throat. "Well, yeah, I suppose I'll agree with him on that one. The air filtration is up to par on the ship, but it doesn't mean the rest of my crew will want to be up in space stuck in a cloud of recycled smoke." On the other hand, Sol knew what an addiction could do to a man, so he wasn't about to make the guy go cold turkey. "So, I'll have to ask you to keep the smoking to the cargo bay only, if you don't mind. Making sure the doors to the hallways are closed, if you do. If we're planet-side and you can be outside, then please not on the ship at all. I hope that's fair?"
Then, with another uncomfortable look at Booker, for his own safety he decided to add: "At least, that is, until you can quit..."

Caden kept an eye on Booker, "Y-yeah... That's fine..." He stuttered slightly. Enan wanted him to quit smoking? all he need to do was find this guy. It was pretty effective. Note to self, avoid the giant when possible... He was pretty sure he almost died from a heart attack because of Booker. And that would have been a lot faster of a death than smoking.
He was also even more confused on how quickly the man had changed from bioling anger to a happy smile like nothing even happened. I almost died! What the hell?!

Olive pranced her way on down the walkway, happy to spot two men already talking to Solomon. Oh good, they're almost all here! She paused for a moment, staring at one of them. He was huge, like a big ol tree. She knew who that was, she had his name in the padd in her arms! Tyrone Lewis, otherwise known as Booker. She glanced down, double checking the screen of the eInkr just to make sure. As if there were any other men that looked like that!
She happily made her way down the stairs with the padd, entrusted to her by Solomon so that she could keep track of the crew arriving that she'd never met before. He had told her it was her job to greet them for now. She accepted the job with enthusiasm. It made her feel so important!
As she approached them, bouncing a little, she couldn't help but realize how much bigger Booker looked now that she was at the same level as him. Whoa. "Hi Booker!" she beamed, putting out her hand. "I'm Olive! Nice to meet you!"
Then she turned, glancing at the other man. She didn't recognize him from the padd, but she had a strange feeling that she'd seen him before. She double checked the screen. No, his face wasn't there. She looked at him quizzically. "What's your name??"

Caden saw the faun girl from before bounce her way towards them and greet Booker. Was it weird that she, despite her size didn't seem scared of the huge guy at all and he himself was just feeling unsafe looking at him?
He turned his full attention to her with a kind smile to hide his discomfort with what Booker had done. "Caden Breese. I'm most likely not on your little list there," he stated and pointed to the padd in her hands. "I just sort of got here."

Booker turned to the happy looking faun girl. "Hi, Olive, nice to meet you too." A Faun! Booker was excited to meet one. He'd already met a new species and he hadn't even left Terra yet. He wondered how she knew his name when he hadn't seen her before but quickly he realize she held a padd with a list of the new crew members on it. She seemed friendly. He liked friendly people.
He knew he would get along with Olive. As long as she obeyed the law and liked him, she was a friend to him. His attention returned to Caden as Olive greeted him. Smoker. He was going to straighten that boy out.

She could sense Caden was terrified of the other man, but she couldn't figure out why. He was the biggest Human she'd ever seen, but he had a friendly smile. She didn't feel uncomfortable around him at all. In fact, he probably gave really awesome hugs with those big arms of his! She wondered if Caden had ever seen a Centaur. Now they were kind of scary... with their four legs...
She snapped out of it, glancing back at Caden, and then at the eInkr. "Oh I see! Um... I don't know how to use it, or I would put you in the list... but I'm gonna learn. Sol's gonna teach me!"

Blaine was all ready packing up. He had two small bags filled with clothes and a case with is weapons. He returned to the hangar and met up with his new fellow crew members. "Howdy." he greeted.
He only recognized two of the people in the group. Sol and Booker. There were two others as well. Another man and a faun girl. "I'm Nick Blaine." He said to the new people. "I'll be driving Adeala." The faun girl was happy and cheery and the man looked as if he were terrified to be there. It must have been Booker. He had that effect on people.
The man must have been new crew. Perhaps a mechanic, or cook. He could think of what the faun's job would be. She could be the cook. Seemed more believable than her being a mechanic.

"Hi Blaine," Sol nodded to the newcomer. He motioned to Caden. "This is Caden, he'll be on as mechanic." Then he put a hand on Olive's shoulder. "This here is Olive. She's... uh... my assistant for today. And of course you've already met Booker." He glanced at Booker, hoping Booker wouldn't do something like hug the life out of Blaine.
"Anyway, this is almost everyone," he stated, heading for the stairs. "If you guys want to follow me, we'll have a seat in the kitchen and have a talk. We're only waiting for Thomas now, but since he has a habit of wandering aimlessly onto ships, I'm sure he won't mind if we don't wait for him by the door..."

"Seems I made it here with some pretty good timing," Caden smiled trying his best to ignore the burning stare of Booker. He really doesn't like me does he...?
Now Blaine looked like someone who's seen a lot of action, and turns out he was a pilot. If he ends up with the same kind of personality as this Booker person, Caden was pretty sure he'd be screwed in space. Although he was sure the engine room was a good place to stick around.

Booker noticed Blaine arrived. He approached Blaine with a massive bear hug. Blaine didn't seem to know what to do. He dropped him. "Hey Blaine!" He acted as if he was life long friends with Blaine who hadn't seen him in years.
They had all of the crew now. Except for Thomas. The skinny cook. Maybe he wasn't coming. Booker suddenly felt sad that he may not be coming. He may never get to see is new friend again.
He nodded and followed Solomon up the stairs.

Blaine was lifted up and squeezed by Booker. He could hardly breathe. He should have seen this coming. Booker loved people. He acted like a little kid when it came to other people. He hugged him like he thought he was dead or something. Booker set him down and Blaine made a small gasp for air. He smiled back at Booker just to make him happy.
Caden was a mechanic. Seemed right. Out of all the job she suggested that Caden would have been, the mechanic seemed most likely. Olive however. Assistant? Maybe he shouldn't ask. That could have another meaning.
Solomon started to walk up the stairs and he followed. He waited for Booker to go up the stairs before him. Just in case he was a guy who used his strength to get what he wanted.

Olive looked at Blaine with interest. He was more scary looking than Booker, because there was a distinct lack of smile there. Just some intense eyes, and weird tattoos. She noted him on the list. Just Thomas Quillan left, and he was nowhere to be found. She was a bit disappointed that he hadn't shown up yet. She was excited about the idea of a cook. Olive liked making food for her family, but that was mostly of the faun variety. Lots of the natural things found on Antheia. Human foods were new to her, and she found them extremely exciting. A new chef would have been able to teach her things.
Sol led the men up the stairs and across the walkway, but Olive couldn't help but linger in the doorway, hoping the cook would walk up soon. She glanced around the docks, but saw no one who looked like the picture she held in front of her. "Hmmm..." she stated out loud. "Where is he?"
Then she caught site of the Queen of Spades across the docks and couldn't help but watch it for a moment, curious. Her mind wandered to the events of the day before and she began to wonder what Klove was up to. She really wanted to talk to him again and ask him what happened, but the ship was all closed up and she assumed that meant they were away from it for the time being. Oh well... there was always tomorrow.
She quickly turned on her hooves and hurried off after the men, eager to hear the conversation and get to know all these new buddies of hers.

Sol headed across the walkway and down the hallway to the dining area where he motioned for everyone to take a seat at the table. He stayed standing at the head of the table, waiting for everyone to take their places.
He scanned them over as they filed in. They were a ragtag crew of interesting people, but he supposed that was to be expected. It would be interesting to see how this went. Hopefully it would all go smoothly. The ship was all he had now, and he was trusting it in the hands of these men.

Caden followed Solomon into the ship. This was his first real glimpse inside. He looked around quickly examining the bits he could before being led into a specific room. This must be a kitchen area...? He pulled a chair and sat down.
He would love to see the rest of the ship, but he could wait a bit. There was probably important stuff for Solomon to explain.

Sol waited for everyone to get settled in at the table, and then finally cleared his throat. "Alright, so in case someone missed it, or wasn't here, I want to go over the plan. Our first stop is Antheia. I need to return the shuttle to the space port there, and we'll also stock up better there. As well, Olive needs to go see her family. She knows what that's about." He shot her a glance.
"After that," he continued. "There are no set plans or missions at this time. The hope is to pick up some jobs, maybe some passengers at each planet, what have you. If this rather aimless way of living doesn't appeal to you, I'm going to urge you to not sign onto this ship."
He took a deep breath. This part was going to be awkward. "Secondly, I need to warn you all of something. I've searched the bounty lists and there's nothing mentioning me, but I'm not a liar, and I'm not going to keep this from my crew. I have a previous incident that may still be on my records. Mostly a misunderstanding and a disagreement with... some law men. I assure you I've done nothing serious, and no, I'm not a criminal," now he chose to shoot a look at Booker. "But regardless, this issue with my record may come up in the future. It may prevent us from some things if someone were to research my name hard enough. Just like before, if anyone has a problem with this, now is the time to leave."
He waited, hoping no one would have a problem with it. But he certainly wasn't going to hide the issue with people who would be living under his roof. He didn't want them finding out later and ditching the crew somewhere when they were needed, and he wanted them all to know they could trust him.
