Last minute shopping [2430-1-1-Tues-1pm]

[Terence Yorick]

"Nah, they don't sit too well with me, and I'm not a fan of the taste," Terence stated and turned around to face Celyn. "But I bought some for you guys, because I figured you would like them."

He leaned back on the counter space and smiled. "Have a good sleep?" He himself did for the most part, aside from the whole Rudy incident that had happened. He wasn't sure if he should say anything about Casey joining or just wait till he got there and explain a few things then and there when everyone was around. After all he wanted to take off soon.

"Nah, they don't sit too well with me, and I'm not a fan of the taste,"

She nodded and made a mental note, Vegetables and Were don't mix.

"But I bought some for you guys, because I figured you would like them."

She smiled softly, "Well thank you, I love my vegetables.. and these look absolutely amazing. You did a really good job picking them out.." she stated softly.

"Have a good sleep?"

She snickered softly, THinking of the night before "Actually aside from everything else, Yes. It was really peaceful, and a lot comfier then the Dorm room's." she chuckled softly thinking of the stiff beds she used to sleep on. "Soo.. I hope you don't mind me being nosey.. but was that another recrute?" she asked softly leaning over the back of a chair.

[Casey Flint]

It wouldn't take long for Casey to collect his gear. He never was one for getting tied down. For him it was a matter of pride that he could have always be ready to leave on a moments notice. It had saved his life a few times. And the easiest way to avoid people with bigger and more guns was to not be there when they came looking for you.

All Casey really had to do was throw the few sets of meager clothing into a bag and then pack his weapons. All in all it only took him 15 minutes. The next part of leaving was always a little more tricky.

Casey had a long standing contract with his landlord. All Casey had to do was make sure he was paid up a couple of months in advance and Schroeder would keep the apartment in Casey's name. Of course it had taken Casey kicking the crap out of the guy that Schroeder had tried to rent the apartment to while he was gone to get that arrangement. But that was no big deal for Casey.

So with that arranged Casey was ready and rearing to get on the move.

"Well you can have them veggies," he laughed a bit, "I don't need em."

Terence nodded. "He's hopping on as an extra hand currently. Mostly for Nox so far. His Name is Casey." Terence picked up one of the bottles of beer he had bought and snapped off the cap in his teeth. He took a sip of it and smiled. It was great he had a crew started now, he could shove that in Chase's face. Mr. 'No one will trust you out there' Heh... Chase you can suck it. He wouldn't help but feel good.

"Casey should be joining us soon. He's grabbing a few things before getting on board." He stated and took another sip from his bottle.

She chuckled softly, "Alright, I'll be sure to munch on 'em. You have no idea what you're missing out on.." she stated with a soft laugh. Well he probably did, but oh well.

Listening she nodded "Casey.. Hmm, Well welcome aboard." she chuckled softly, Remembering the look Rudy had given him when he opened the beer bottle this way at the Restaraunt. "So, about the trip.. Are we going to Nox first then?" she asked softly. Curious, It wouldn't bother her.. Why not go visit his family, Then go see Antheia? It wouldn't be bad. Nope, Either way she was getting off this planet.

She smiled, and grabbed her glass of water and took a sip. Mmm, It was alot fresher then the water on Terra, Perhaps a better filteration then the School had.. Oh well.

Rudy thought about it for a second. "I slept... relatively well..." He didn't know how to word it. It was half-good-half-bad. Then Terence returned. He followed the two into the Kildeer. They stopped in the kitchen. Terence looked like he didn't approve of vegetables. Made sense. Lions don't eat anything but meat so why wouldn't a Were-lion. Rudy wasn't a big fan of vegetables himself. He only ate them when he needed to.

There was a new guy. Casey was his name? Casey? That's a girls name is it not? He seemed like a big guy from far away so that must mean he's extra big. But he had a girly name. He couldn't help but laugh a little at the irony of it.

Terence thought about it for a second. Nox probably was better to go to first at this point. "Well, with Casey tagging along it might be a better idea to go to Nox first." He stated, "Because that's one of the main reasons I'm hiring him." Though he really should tell him the main reason they're going to Nox. But some Vampire hunting should be fun, and then Chase can join them too.

"How bout you Rudy? which seems better? Antheia or Nox first?" He asked taking another swing of his beer. He wanted a mixed opinion and not to just decide for everyone on his own.

Hmm, So he was opting for Nox first, She didnt blame him. Perhaps he missed his family, She knew she sure did. She nodded her head, Understanding a bit better. Perhaps this Casey fellow was a merc, and thus his reasoning behind hiring this fellow for Nox.. She sort of shivered slightly. Thinking of the cold pale faced creature's that walked along with the Were's.

She turned to Rudy, A waiting his own input. Would he shy away from Nox, or brave it like the other men? Either way, she would support them.. and be there incase in injuries were to happen. You never knew when something could happen...

Rudy had to think about that for a second. Nox? Was he even cut out for going to that world of danger and violence. Vampires were terrifying in the stories he'd heard about them. The Weres problem if he probably wouldn't be a be a problem if Terence was with them. Hopefully he was a well liked person in the Were community. This new Casey guy looked tough. He may be good protection.

"I guess..." Rudy said slowly. He still was unsure but he had faith that they'd be fine. He could stay on the ship too. Hopefully it was secure against vampire attacks. "We should be safe right?"

"Of course you'll be safe. The spaceport is heavily protected and Sticking with me you should be fine. If things get sketchy, you got me and now we got Casey. As long as you stay in the protected areas you'll be fine." He took a bigger swig of his beer. "Besides my buddy can also take care of any trouble makers for us."

As long as no one picked any fights they should be great. Chase would be also great for keeping Crystal away. She was the last person he wanted to see when he went back to Nox. She'd probably cling to him instantly if she saw him and it was impossible to get anything done with her around. He regretted not listening to Chases warnings about her. The little fox was a master of chaos.

Listening to rudy, she gave a half hearted smile.. She knew the fear he felt. Vampire's etched horror into just about every human alike. Mother's used to tell their children stories about them coming out at night, Many children lost their father's so many years ago at the first visit to Nox. So she understood how he felt.. but yet at the same time the offer to Meet Terence's family and see where he came from seemed like a risk she was willing to take. She moved over towards Rudy and gently patted his shoulder "It'll be alright..We will be with the Were's and no vampire will come there.." she smiled softly, Hoping to be a bit more reassuring.

Celyn eye's rested warily on Terence, She hoped they'd be alright. She couldn't imagine anything happening to any of them. but Terence lived on Nox.. and he was alright, Mostly. She smiled again, shaking all her nightmarish thoughts from her brain.. She'd be fine.. They'd all be fine. She moved away from Rudy and went to the fridge.. Hoping to change the subject she peered inside "So who else is hungry?" she asked softly.

"Oh, and a bit of a warning. Many Weres don't like clothing. Though around the Space port there are rules about it, some don't listen. And in spotting various animals wandering around, they would be Weres too." He decided to warn especially Rudy after what had happened late last night.

Food sounded good, he turned and checked the meat he had put out to thaw. Close but not quite thawed enough. Looks like he was going to wait a bit. Oh how he missed the ability to chase down and catch fresh prey on his own. It tasted better that way.

"Oh, good." He knew they wouldn't have been in too much danger but Rudy couldn't stop feeling like it was a bad Idea. It's like being in a cage while sharks circle around you. You know you're safe in the cage but you're still terrified to be there.

Don't like clothing? What did that mean? Did they frown upon others who wore clothing, or walk around naked? Or both? He suddenly got some images in his head of what he imagined a bunch of Weres walking around. He saw some sights that he wanted to see, and some he didn't. He shook his head and snapped out of his daydream. "Does that mean they won't be wearing anything?" He paused, "Even the guys?"

"Some of them will be wearing little to no clothing. My buddy Chase for example, prefers wearing nothing. But I make him at least wear shorts when I visit. Plus he lives close to the spaceport so he should be wearing something anyway. But yes, you will probably see a few naked girls and guys. Not many but they'll be there." It wasn't a big deal to Terence, after all he was born and raised there. He saw it all the time.

He was curious as to how the others would react to the Were community. It was a lot different than what they were used to back on Terra. Terra was full of metal while the Were housing was mostly wood.

Celyn had proceded to pull out a few eggs and some other things for breakfast. Though she was still listening she busily went along her way to start preparing dinner, but couldn't help but chuckle at Rudy's question. She was sure that.. well seeing a few Naked were's running around wouldn't be half as bad as running into a few Vampire's. "Oh Lawd.." she chuckled listening to Terence speak about the attire "So does your.. Family where clothing?" she asked softly, while cracking some eggs into a pan on the oven on the other side of the Kitchen, she looked over her shoulder with a grin.

She was sure the experience on Nox would be something she would have never expected, or one that she would be completly clueless about till they arrived. She could only hope that His family would like her, as well as the others. Who knew how long they'd be staying.. Which was a good question "How long are we going to be staying on Nox?" she asked softly. It wasn't a big deal, but she was just curious..
