Klove eyed Grace as she came down the ramp with the saw. He'd already seen a version of this particular parlour trick before and decided to peace out. Not that he didn't enjoy seeing vamps get their just-deserts but his neck was really going. The idiot vamp must have ripped the flesh pulling his teeth back out, so instead of a neat little leaking puncture, there was a nastier rip.
He went up the ramp and headed into the mess, drips of blood to mark his passage on the floors. As he stepped in, he was rewarded with the sight of both Quillan and Enan pointing guns at him. "Hey." He managed, waving with the non-bleeding hand, "Can you patch me up?"
And then the sound of the chainsaw started and Klove sat on the table, making bets with himself if he would be stitched up before Grace was done.

Grace stood overtop the idiot with the needles in his eyes. It wasn't the first time Grace had been double-crossed or betrayed. And yet, just like the first time, and every time afterwards, her blood turned to ice and all her emotions were replaced with rage.
"Hey." She said, leaning down and pulling the needles out of what used to be an eye. "I've got a message for you. See, I'm going to let you live, but only if you agree to pass on my message."
The sick vampire moaned, but nodded, "y-yeah. sure. a-anything."
"Alright. Here it is. Never fik with Grace Forjacks. Repeat it."
"n-never fik with g-grace forjacks..." He muttered.
Grace nodded and stood up. She grabbed hold of the pullcord and yanked. The engine roared to life. And the vampire stared up at her with one good eye and started saying things like "wait-" and "you promised!"
"I didn't. I said I'd let you live. I never said I'd send you out of here intact." She brought down the saw on his arm. The vampire was a dead thing, and like old dead wood, he was easy to cut through. He screamed, and beside him another one of them stirred and tried to crawl away. She nodded to Castle to go ahead and shoot him. Then she stepped over the vamp's body and started work on the other arm. There was no rush. Vamps couldn't bleed to death.

Enan was glad the first drop went smoothly, but couldn't say much about the second one. As soon as he heard shots being fired he instinctively prepared for the worst. At first when Klove had wandered in, he just instantly pointed the gun at him, but quickly put it down when he realized who it was. He got to him quickly holding cloth to the gash in his neck.
"What happened out there?" He asked and guided Klove to sit while he got a better look at the wound. There wasn't as much damage done as he thought, mostly just the torn skin was causing the bleeding. Klove was pretty lucky. He injected a small dose of a pain killer serum into the area so it wouldn't be so bad when he started to stitch the skin back up.

"Ambush. There were about thirty or so waiting. They probably figured they could take the ship and get off of Nox." Klove tilted his head to one side to let Enan get at it. The pain killer started working almost immediately, and the skin on his neck went numb. That was a welcome relief. Vampire bites always hurt like a bitch.
"Gnirmar's dead. They gutted him. Castle looked fine." Klove finished explaining, then added for good measure, "And Grace is pissed, so, heads-up on that one. We'll probably be okay. She's getting that aggression out right now." The steady drone of the chainsaw made it pretty clear exactly how that was getting done.

'Thirty?!' "Jeezis... You guys are lucky..." He slowly started to stitch up the gash. It should heal up pretty nicely as long as it wasn't messed with. So the Goblin was dead? At least it wasn't Klove or Castle. Sure he was a little taken back but he wasn't exactly comfortable with the goblin around anyway.
"She takes her anger out with chainsaws? Good to know... Remind me to stay on her good side," He made a small laugh. When finished with the stitching he put some disinfectant, just to be safe, and bandages over it. "The tape might be a little irritating, but the bandage needs to stay on for a while to keep any unwanted bacteria out while it closes properly." He pulled the thin gloves he had on off and tossed them in a small garbage. It was a good thing he had a nice amount of those gloves, because he had a feeling he'd be doing this a lot in the future.

Castle was surprised at how Grace took her anger out. Chainsawing people's limbs off, even if they were vampire, just didn't seem like something a woman would do. But she was different, and extremely pissed off, so he didn't question it. As much as he liked killing people he hated brutally, this was a little too far for Castle. He didn't enjoy watching in any way.
Castle noticed the vamp that tried to crawl away and instantly lifted his gun and took it out with a single incendiary bullet. That was more Jared's style. Good old fashioned gun shot to the death, and when the bullets made tiny explosions and made fire, he liked it even more.
He hoped Klove was okay. Hopefully he didn't turn into a vampire or something. He was practically the person Castle trusted most. Which now that he thought about it was odd because he only knew him for about eleven days. He normally doesn't trust anybody. But Klove seemed trustworthy.
Castle winced as Grace continued to take the bastard's limbs off.

"Yeah." Klove agreed. If they had come all at once, they would all be dead now, and the ship probably in smithereens. But they'd come in waves, and Castle had done really well, minus the moment he started shooting regular bullets but nobody had died because of that. But they'd been prepared, and the vamps had come at a pace they'd been able to control. And only one person was dead, which was good.
Klove laughed a little. He wasn't too fond of Enan sleeping with Grace, but at least he was kinda funny. He hissed a little at the stitches, but nodded as Enan gave him a run-down on the wound and the care of it. Bandages were pretty normal in Klove's world. Annoying, but normal.
He slid off the table and touched his neck. "Thanks." Now he had to get moving again. Grace would be done with them. He headed into the storage and opened up the compartment she'd gotten the chainsaw from. The toolbox was sitting at the bottom of it, and he grabbed it, along with some rags for gags. Then he headed down the ramp. "Hey Grace!"

When Grace finished with the first vampire, she moved on to the other two. They didn't exactly bleed, but something black and sticky did come out of them when you cut them up. Her shirt was a mess, and her jacket was going to need to be washed, but that was fine. It was going to look better like this when she faced the last bunch.
She kicked the limbs away and onto the obsidian. Klove came down with the toolbox. Good boy. Grace turned off the chainsaw and walked over to meet him, trading him the saw for the box. She popped it open and found what she needed, a pair of pliers. Then she returned to the vampires she'd just finished with. They had passed out by this point, which was good. It made it easy for her to yank out their fangs.
Beside her, Klove was doing the same with the one who had bit him. And when that was done, the boy stuffed the vampire's mouth with rags and tied another around his head to keep them in. Grace pocketed the fangs, cleaned off the pliers and locked up the box. She carried the box and saw aboard, and Klove followed, dragging the lead vampire. "Meeting in the mess hall." She yelled out to everyone, and headed into the mess, dropping the chainsaw and toolbox both on the steel table.

Klove nodded to Castle as he came down and traded the toolbox to Grace. After she got herself a pair of pliers, he decided to do the same and hurry it up. It was pretty clear Castle wasn't used to this level of violence. He thought about trying to explain what this all was, then figured Castle would be able to put it all together.
He got the fangs out. Grace liked to keep them, and they sure as hell made the surviving vampire's lives hell. Klove wasn't sure if vamps could starve to death, but he was willing to bet that it hurt either way. Then he gagged the vamp. Just because they couldn't bite you didn't mean you wanted to give them the option.
Klove carried him on board. Without his arms and legs, he was pretty light. The vampire ended up sitting in the storage bay. And once Castle was onboard, Klove raised the ramp. They still had a blood-drop to make, and Grace was going to make sure all the vampires there understood she was not someone you could fik with.

Castle wasn't sure what Grace was trying to accomplish but he didn't ask. It was most likely to intimidate the other Vampires. Klove had come out to give Grace something and was already bandaged up. That Breese fellow must have done that. What a tool that guy is. He didn't know exactly why but he disliked Enan. Maybe it was the fact that he was currently with Grace.
When the others were all finished up, he followed them back onto the ship. The ramp closed and they were off to the next drop off. He had used up a lot of his ammo in the firefight. He went to his bunk to get another magazine for his Desert Eagle. Then he approached Klove. "Where do you keep the incendiary rounds?"

"Weapon's locker in the hall upstairs, beside the suits." He was going to have to swing up and make a trip, then he thought better and simply handed his gun and Gnirmar's gun to Castle, "There should be full clips for both of these guns, just switch them out." Castle would be able to find ammo for his own gun easily enough, though there weren't any pre-loaded clips.
Klove headed into the mess hall and sat on the table again, taking a good look at the chainsaw. That was going to need to be cleaned and re-oiled, and he really hoped Grace did it instead of making Klove do it for her. "Castle's just getting ammo. He'll be here in a second."

"Fine." Grace headed over to get a good look at Klove's neck. Enan had done a decent job of patching him up. That would heal up in a few days, maybe less if his body got on top of things. He did heal quicker on Nox than anywhere else in the system. She gave him a quick scratch on the head, disguised as a ruffle of his hair. He'd done good today.
She waited for Castle to come in, then started talking. "We've gone one more blood drop, just on the outskirts of La Notte. Now, I don't know if those vamps had anything to do with this, or are even aware of what's gone down here, but I'm going to go ahead and assume they might. We're going to be bringing along a few guests to remind them what happens to vamps who try and cross me, and then we're going to see if we can sell both coolers of blood. I'll be blunt, this is going to be risky. But with our limbless idiot 'friends', we should be able to keep them at bay."
"Klove, Castle, you'll be covering me and the blood. Enan, you're getting a crash-course in flying. Quillan, Klove'll hook you up with detonators to the coolers. If you hear us screaming for you to blow them, you blow them up." She headed out of of the mess and up to the cockpit, motioning for Enan to follow her. She could hear the sound of the ramp dropping down again as Klove headed out to fetch that last cooler, and the other vamps.

"Right." Castle knew where the weapons were at some point but he had forgotten. He just needed to be sure. He grabbed the guns that Klove offered to him. "That'll work."
He finished reloading his gun and entered the mess hall. Grace was waiting and he made a signal that she could start talking. Yes, Castle was right when he assumed that Grace mutilated the vampire so she could strike fear in the hearts of other vampires. He got ready for the next trade. He hoped that Quillan wouldn't have to blow them up. That's not the way he'd want to go.

Klove would be alright as long as he didn't scratch at the bandage and tear the stitches. Grace seemed glad he was alright. He waited for everyone else to enter and listened carefully to Grace. She was pissed, and it showed. He followed everything up until the part where he was supposed to learn to fly. He looked a bit confused but if that's what she, as captain, wanted he'd have to do it anyway.
He wasn't sure how quickly he'd be able to get the hang of it, but he'd do what he could. "Alright," he said a bit awkward and got up to follow Grace. He remembered being a little overwhelmed by the amount of stuff in the cockpit the first time he'd seen it. Hopefully it wasn't as complicated as it looked.

Grace stepped into the cockpit, waited until Enan followed her in, and then closed the door behind her. It wasn't that she didn't trust Quillan or Castle, but she wasn't in the habit of sharing this information with just anyone. Enan would not have usually gotten this info, but considering that she needed Klove by her side out there, he would have to do.
"I lied about the flying." She told him. "There's an auto-pilot on here, you just have to trigger it and it'll take you straight into orbit. From there you can radio the spaceport and have someone come rescue whoever's left alive."
Grace didn't touch any of the consoles. Instead, she reached over onto the wall and carefully popped off a panel, revealing a dozen buttons, each a different colour. "When we land at La Notte, I'm going to key in the self-destruct sequence before I go down to talk to the horde. To turn it off, you hit this button here." She pointed to the clear button on the far right of the panel. "If you touch any other button on the console, any button at all, you'll trigger the self-destruct. It takes about three minutes to prime itself, and it'll blow without any warning at all. If we're overwhelmed, try and make sure the ship is swamped by vamps. If we go, we're taking as many of them with us as we can, and leaving a crater they won't be able to erase anytime soon."
Grace replaced the panel. If you were unaware of what it contained, you would assume it was simply wiring behind there. And even if you did find it, the buttons were all unlabeled. A nasty suprise was in store for anyone who thought they could take her ship.
"Auto-pilot is that button." She pointed to the blue one in one of the front consoles, helpfully labelled 'auto-pilot'. "Just make sure to hear the clear button before you touch anything else, and I do mean anything. Got it?"
