Normally Sol left breakfast for people to eat when they pleased, as people woke up at fairly different times. It was dinner that they tried to eat together so everyone could continue to get to know each other. But today was different: they had planning to do.
Sol had called everyone to wake up and get to the table for 8am, so he was now sitting at the table, waiting patiently for everyone to arrive, get the food they wanted, and get settled.

Booker woke up, heard the word breakfast, and was out the door of his room. He still wore his purple jammies. He didn't even need to hear the announcement to come and eat because he was extremely hungry anyway. He walked into the kitchen and looked around.
Nobody was there but the captain. "Hey, Sol!" He came over to the counter then got some cereal in a bowl and sat down. He started shoveling cereal into is mouth, crunched, and swallowed. "So what's up, cap?"

Caden stumbled out of bed, his hair a mess and only in a pair of loose fitted pants. He generally took a bit of time before he was fully awake. But he had to make sure he got to the kitchen in time like Sol wanted. They were going to go over the whole Cassandra issue some more. He scratched his head and slowly made his way to the kitchen, stretching on the way.
So far only Sol and Booker were awake. He quietly sat down and took a bit of what ever food was out to eat.

It wasn’t long before Magdalen arrived in the mess hall, looking much paler than usual. The past two nights had been nothing short of restless and it seemed to have become habit for her to wash her face or shower hours before anyone else was awake. Despite her lack of sleep, the blonde had managed to beat some of the other crew members to the table; spotting only Caden, Booker and Solomon as she eased herself quietly into the nearest chair.
She didn’t say anything, already anticipating that the discussion would be about Saturday’s incident and what exactly they were going to do about it.

Olive hurried down the hallway with curiosity, knowing Sol was probably going to talk about the Cass thing. She still had no idea what was going on, or what had happened, so Olive was definitely interested in finding out everything she'd missed while she was with her family.
She turned the corner and headed for the kitchen, surprised to see Magdalen there. She hadn't seen her since her return to the ship, as she must have been spending the evening in her room, so Olive smiled at her. "Hi Magdalen!"
She grabbed some cereal--it was beginning to be her favourite thing so far--and then slid into a chair at the table, waiting for everyone else to arrive.

Needless to say, she was a little more than surprised when Olive’s bright greeting reached her. The faun settled comfortably in one of the available chairs with a bowl of cereal and Magdalen could do nothing but blink wordlessly for a moment before shaking her head and forcing a smile.
“Olive! I wasn’t aware you’d returned to the ship. How was the time you spent with your family?”
That was strange. They weren't due to leave for another few days; at least she hadn’t expected them to. Why had Olive arrived so early? And had she been informed of the situation already? If not, she was about to get the full story now.

Booker sat intently waiting for the others to come into the room. He was always a morning person and woke up before everyone else. He kicked his legs in impatience. Suddenly Caden walked in. "Hey Caden!" Booker greeted excitedly. Caden definitely didn't look like a morning person. His hair was all messy and he still looked like he was slowly waking up.
Then Magdalen came into the room. "Hey Maggie!" He also said excitedly.
Then Olive walked in. "Hey Olive!" He said even more excitedly. He hadn't seen her since they landed. He had thought that she was not coming with them. Which would have been sad. But the fact that he could see her again made him happy.

When Reese woke up he still had a dwindling headache. Nothing too bad, but it was there. He found a mirror and looked at bruise on hid forehead and noticed another thing. "How did my eye bruise?" he groaned. He almost looked like a victim of a bar fight, though it wouldn't be surprising for him to get punched in the face at a bar. Needless to say, he'd probably be staying close to the ship for a while.
He pulled on a hoodie and made sure the hood was up before deciding to join the others for breakfast. How was he supposed to explain that these stupid injuries came from him tripping on nothing and hurling face first into a door...? Not cool.
He hesitated before entering the slightly crowded area. Was he the last to come in? Great, everyone would be staring at him. He should have grabbed his sunglasses to hide his eyes, but it was too late now. He slowly entered the room and sunk into the first empty chair he could find.

"Well, Mister Know It All here was trying to get me to stay behind because it was 'not safe'," Here Olive through in finger quotations in the air as she spoke. "Whatever that means. But I sure set him straight!" She grinned and then stuck her tongue out at Sol.
"Anyway, it was nice seeing them again but it was already boring. I've seen them for enough time of my life for now. They'll be here when I get back!" Olive paused as Reese entered the room, hood over his face. She lifted an eyebrow. "Well... this is kinda familiar..."

Caden hadn't really said anything to anyone as they entered, mostly just a small movement to at least acknowledge that they were there. He just ate and listened. Until Reese walked in. Again he just seemed completely out of place and awkward. And why was he wearing a hood over his face? Reminded him too much of Cassandra.
He shook his head and finally spoke, "Ok kid, whats with the hood? You trying to hide a pimple or something?" Reese was a weird one.

Blaine was working in the cockpit when the announcement sounded. He knew he should probably go right away, but this really needed to get done. Once he finished a couple minutes after Sol called them down, he put his tools away and entered the kitchen. He was right, he knew everyone would be there before him. It wasn't his fault. He was the pilot after all, he needed to maintain the cockpit.
There, sitting at the table was Sol waiting to talk to everyone, Booker happy to be alive, Caden who looked like a zombie, Olive who was also happy to be alive, Magdalen who was ready to listen, and what he thought was Reese in a hood. That guy is one weird dude.
Just as he did at the last meeting, he leaned against the wall beside the doorway to hear what Sol was going to say.

"Alright," Sol leaned forward in his chair as the last few people arrived. "So, here's the situation: As we all know, we have an issue with our passenger, Cassandra. I'm going to be completely honest with you all... I saw she had a bounty on her head the night we left. But since she was simply wanted for questioning, I decided not to press the matter or alarm anyone. I figured if I didn't ask, then I didn't know, and therefore couldn't be blamed for whatever it was she had gotten herself involved with. Was it the right thing for me to do? I'm not so sure. But, at least it worked out for us the way I thought it would. We didn't know the story and therefore have not yet been accused of becoming unwitting accomplices.
"Obviously..." Sol paused for a moment, doing his best to try to choose his words carefully. "Obviously, things have changed. We can no longer plead ignorance on the matter, so whatever we do in the case of Cassandra has to be done with utmost care. Now, I want to personally have a talk with her myself and get to the bottom of this. Obviously as captain, I have final say on how we go about dealing with this, and I already have some thoughts in mind, but I will also not turn the ship into a dictatorship that no one is allowed to question. I want everyone's opinions on what we know so far, so I can figure out where the crew's general stance is on the situation. Only then will I make any decisions."

He ate some cereal and almost didn't even notice Blaine come in. Just listening and watching what everyone else was doing.
Reese tried to ignore Caden's comment and sort of put up his hand slightly before saying something. "I still don't completely know whats going on," All he knew was that Cassandra had a bounty on her head, and fake limbs. That was it. He didn't know why she was so important or why she was so scared of the people who wanted to talk to her.

Magdalen listened to Olive as she recounted the visit she’d had with her family, glancing curiously up at Solomon as the faun mentioned – none too happily – that he’d attempted to convince her to stay behind. It had been a noble thing for him to do, and not particularly surprising. After all the two of them shared a special kind of bond; the last thing he probably wanted was to see someone he cared so deeply for get hurt. However it was obvious Olive had managed to win him over somehow regardless, provoking an amused smile from Magdalen as their captain began speaking.
She didn’t blame him for feeling the need to question Cassandra. The girl did indeed pose a threat to the safety of the ship and potentially everyone on board. However a twinge of desperation pulled at the blonde’s heart as she prayed fervently for the rest of the crew to be understanding. Booker she knew would be willing to give their mysterious passenger a second chance, but she wasn’t able to speak for Caden, Nick or Reese.
“When I was with Cassandra, it really didn’t feel as though she thought it would be a good idea to hand herself over to the Terran military; despite the fact they reassured me that she was only wanted for questioning and it would be safer if she remained in their custody. Of course they also tried to feed me some story about how her father brainwashed her. She took far too much pride in those prosthetic limbs. If they’d been forced on her, wouldn’t the girl be more inclined to regard them with some degree of disdain?”
A pause ensued as she stared awkwardly at her folded hands.
“You’ll need Cassandra’s version of the story in person to make a valid judgement. After all, if you’re face to face it’ll be easier to gauge how she feels and whether or not she’s lying by body language alone. She was genuinely terrified, that’s for sure. It just seemed like … she didn’t want to be alone.”

Booker laughed after Olive commented on what she had done. Then everyone finally arrived. Sol began talking and Booker listened like it was the most important thing he'll ever hear in his life. Booker thought about what he could say. In his opinion, he wanted Cass to stay on the ship. If it caused trouble, then so be it.
Magdalen then gave her opinion. It would be weird for someone who's limbs were forced to be changed into fake ones would be so proud of them. Maybe there's more to this story than what they're hearing from the military. Booker agreed that they'd need Cass' story on the situation. If it's just a bunch of facts from the government that could be wrong and opinions that could be fake, then how are they supposed to know what's true or not. Cass would be the best person to talk about it. But she'd be the last person to want to open up about her past to a big group of people.
Booker nodded in agreement to Magdalen's comments.
