The grin split Cass' face. She was going to be able to go! Cass almost hugged Solomon, but thought better off it. "I will, I promise! I'll keep in contact! And we'll go somewhere else the moment something happens!" She assured him, fully planning to message him every half hour if she had to.
Klove didn't say anything. He didn't seem to like Solomon too much. Maybe there was something else there? Whatever it was, it didn't matter. Solomon was letting her go, and she didn't give him the chance to change his mind. She waved and headed away, and Klove came with her, the pair going to the elevators near the back of the docks. Her heart was beating fast, and if her palms could of sweat, they would have. A date. A real date with a real boy.
Things couldn't have gone any better,

"They grow up so fast." She said, watching the pair quickly amscray. Grace waited until they were in the elevator and well out of earshot before she spoke again, keeping her voice pitched low so nobody else could hear. "He'll stay away from bounty hunters. Klove's had a price on his head before, and he knows how ugly it can get when they set their sights on you."
It was a shot in the dark, but at the same time, it wasn't. The only way this situation made sense was if Cassandra was carrying a hefty bounty. If she'd tried to buy passage on a ship like the Queen of Spades, with that shoulder-bag worth at least a few thousand and her soft-hands but too-strong grip, then she had something the Military wanted badly. And if Solomon was out here, on the Underworld, instead of sticking to the inner system, then it was obvious that he was helping her hide.
"Didn't take you for an Underworld-man." Grace turned to face Solomon, taking him in. He'd cleaned up a little since she'd last saw him. Looked like he was taking his captaining seriously. "Which of your crew talked you into coming out here?"

"I hope she listens," Sol replied, watching the pair disappear. "I know I sound like an overprotective dad but... I just put my brand new crew in a lot of danger to keep her safe. The last thing I need is her running around bringing attention to herself." Bounty hunters? He didn't even want to know how many of those were around here.
He turned his attention fully towards Grace after they were gone. "To be honest I'd never heard of this place until we needed to do a bit of laying low--in relation to Cass' situation--and my pilot suggested it. He warned me it was rough, but... this wasn't what I was expecting."

She nodded, understanding his point of view. Nothing worse than carrying someone with determined enemies, particularly ones with cash on hand. "I think she gets it, but you'll know if you get her checking in. If she doesn't, let me know and I'll get Klove to sink it through her thick skull."
"It's not as bad as it looks." Grace assured him, scanning the docks. "Don't get me wrong, it's rough here, but as long as you don't go looking for trouble, trouble won't go looking for you. I've sold product here for years now and it's always treated me well. You just need to learn who to avoid and who to trust."
She stretched her arms, feeling her back pop as she did. Now that she was up, she wouldn't be going back to sleep anytime soon. And she didn't have any business left to attend to, seeing as she'd hired a new merc, picked up a buyer for those useless diamonds, and had another rather large contract lined up... "You got anything to do right now?" Grace asked, feeling impulsive. "Because I'm in the mood for a drink or two."

He nodded, subconsciously resting his hand against the eInkr padd he'd hooked to his belt, definitely hoping she would remember to check in like she promised. "Well, I'm definitely not looking for trouble, and neither is my crew." Sol said that as a general statement, though he wasn't really sure about Blaine or Caden in the long run, especially in a place like this.
He glanced at the other captain in confusion at her question, but then quickly looked back in the direction of the Adeala. Did he have anything to do? Besides find out what everyone else was doing, he really didn't. And he'd already covered getting Booker to look after the others, so he didn't have to go back to the ship right away. Booker would be expecting him gone for a little bit.
Sol looked back at Grace. It might be good to talk to another captain, maybe get some suggestions on where to go next, or who might be looking for jobs. "Uh, well... I don't think I have any plans..."

"Good." She knew she had him hooked, even if he was a little reluctant. Grace was looking forward to finding out more about Solomon. It was just good sense, espeically if Klove and Cass lasted beyond a date or two. "I know a place. It's nice and quiet, clean too. Nobody's really there at this time of the day."
Even though the Underworld didn't actually have day or night, people more or less stuck to the 24 hour clock. There were plenty of exceptions, plenty of businesses that ran around the clock, but most of the people were awake during the 'day' and asleep during the 'night'. It was easier to stick to the clock, gave your day focus, and kept you from being completely messed up if you left the Underworld and went planetside.
She headed to the elevator, mapping out their path in her head. The nice thing about the Painted Lady was that no matter where you parked, all you had to do to find it was just head straight into the Belly, "I hope you don't mind a little walking."
