- No Netspeak. Use proper grammar and spelling. When in doubt, use spell check.
- Write at least 2 paragraphs, each with 3 sentences in your IC posts, making sure to further along the plot or the a conversation. Avoid simple “Yeah I agree” posts. Don't be afraid to get in your character’s head a little.
- Make sure to remember the timeline info for starting new threads.
- No God-Modding. Don’t ever describe someone else’s character’s actions, reactions, or thoughts. That’s the other person’s job. Focus only on your character’s interactions with the world.
- Make sure to read all character creation rules, which can be found in the application thread.
- Try to keep the site at a PG-13/14A-type rating in order to keep the site accessible to a wider range of ages. ie. Minimal swearing (we have a few in-site, imaginary swears to use instead), no explicit sex scenes, etc. Some situations may be decided on a one-by-one basis whether something is too much or not. Mods will have final say on this.
- Signatures should be no bigger than 150x500 for the sake of maintaining the integrity of the site layout and keeping things clean. By default, proboards limits avatars to 100x100, so design accordingly.
- And above all else, be respectful, helpful, and use common sense.
Please be aware that the rules are always subject to change.
