Most people have a moral compass, something telling them what is right and wrong, and when to stop when what they are doing hurts others. Most people wouldn't break into someone's house to search for reasons as to why they may be sick, and most people have a mental filter on their vocal cords so that they don't offend others. Then of course, you have Gregory House, the head of the diagnostic team at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. He says what he wants without thinking of the consequences, and he doesn't give a crap what others say. Yet despite all his flaws, he is the best doctor the hospital has. His job is to take the cases that others can't do, the ones that have no apparent cause and to figure them out like a rubix cube. More often than not, he does just that.
It's been five years since House has joined the teaching hospital, Chase, Cameron, and Foreman a little less than a few years. Everyday they and the other doctors are responsible for someones life, and one mistake could turn up some highly revealing results. It's a job that takes a tole on them all, no matter who they are. Sure, House may act like it does not affect him, but that may not be just the case. There's always something more to the situation than ones eyes can see. The dramatics outside of the hospital are slowly starting to ooze in and cause a rift between the doctors, the newest staff not quite sure what to think of the situation. Can you learn to stand up to someone who bosses you around? Will you think outside of the box and earn something higher than approval? Or will you be fired and tossed to the next willing hospital? Only time will tell you what will happen.
The choices are up to them.
Set during season one of House M.D., everything that has happened can be rewritten.
Maybe House and Cameron had sex on their date, maybe they started dating. Maybe she dated Foreman instead, and maybe Wilson cheated on his wife with Cuddy or Cameron. Maybe Chase acts more like his boss and Foreman, growing a backbone instead of always wanting to please his boss. Maybe there was more to the story than what was truly seen by the human eyes.
Who knows?
One thing is for sure, though. Everybody lies, we just have to find out when they do it.
