1. Name: Enriss
2. Age: 19
3. Character Applying for: Terence Yorick
4. Describe the character: Terence is a lazy man, simply put. He enjoys lounging around and not cleaning, which leads to some rather spectacular messes on his ship. Some have joked and called his ship "a lions den" because so many wrappers of food and the occasional animal bone make up the bulk of his filth. However, on the flip side of the coin, he's extremely passionate when angered. Little stands in his way when he's pushed to that extreme, and the cause of it is usually mauled in the face. He does not need a reason though to kill a Vampire. His past experience and his races natural hatred of vampires has caused this. He is also very fun-loving and sarcastic. All this mixed into one bag makes for an extremely interesting time for his crew.
My quick, one sentence description for Terence would be: Long fuse, big bomb with a lot of fun and laughs before the explosion.
5. Provide an example of previous RP experience: "Shut up!" shouted the bounty hunter as he slammed his sword against the cages bars. The girl inside, no older then twelve, fell back away from the blow and hit the ground, crying.
"Please! Don't take me to Cyrille!" she cried, tears running down her face. "I didn't know I was a mage until just a few days ago! Please don't!" The bounty hunter responded by pounding his sword even harder against the bars to drown out the noises the girl was making. After the girl quieted down somewhat, the hunter jumped out of the wagon that held the steel cage and sat down next to the campfire.
"Damn girl. Sooner I get her to Janden and collect my reward, the better," he muttered. He poked at the fire for a while, trying to ignore the quiet sobbing from the cage. Eventually, he gave up and stocked off to the small tent he had pitched earlier. A short while later, a heavy snoring began to come from the tent. All the while, the girl lay in a fetal position at the bottom of the cage, crying and silently pleading "Please no, please no," over and over again.
As the night began to grow darker, just before the sun would begin its ascent, a small patch of the darkness detached itself from a nearby tree. The shadow moved over to the wagon, the girl finally having exhausted herself and passed out. The shadow continued over to the tent and past the fire, nothing but smoldering embers now. However, the soft glow was still enough to reveal the shadow. Obsidian stopped at the tent entrance and extended his hand, fingers spread, towards the dead fire. The fire burst back into life with a loud swoosh produced from all the oxygen pulled into it so quickly. Rustling and a few curses could be heard from the tent and the bounty hunter burst out of it, not wearing any pants and sword in hand.
Before he could say anything, Obsidian let out a long, continued blast of air out from around his body, throwing the bounty hunter off balance and ripping the tent from its pegs. After a few seconds of this, Obsidian let the spell die. The bounty hunter got up as quickly as he could and charged Obsidian, sword held at his side for a horizontal slash. Obsidian ducked under the blow and spun tightly around the hunter in a crouching stance. As he did so, he pulled some of the fire from the campfire and spread it in a circle around the hunter. As he stood up from his crouch, he extended his arms up and the fire around the hunter extended up to five feet tall. Obsidian turned around to face the bounty hunter through the fire. As he turned around, the fire circle mirrored him and twisted and spiraled around the hunter. "Give me the keys to the cage," Obsidian said.
After a few seconds as the hunter swung his sword through the fire, trying in vain to break it and escape, he threw the keys over the fire. Obsidian caught them and went to the cage, leaving the fire spell in place for the time being. The girl had awoken during the brief fight and had watch as Obsidian easily defeated the hunter. Obsidian unlocked the cage and extended his arm out towards the girl. She took it and Obsidian pulled her out of the cage and lifted her into his arms. As he walked out of the area and down the road, he dropped the fire spell, freeing the hunter. The bounty hunters skin was a bright pink, having gotten the equivalent of a light sunburn all over his body from the heat of the fire.
6. Previous RP thread: This is optional. z10.invisionfree.com/Legends_of_Magic/index.php?showtopic=404. On that thread my account was Enriss, and I was playing as Fendrel, the prince of a nation who was on his way to see the woman he was being forced to marry. Unfortunately near the end, it got locked up and might seem a bit disjointed as some characters had to be NPCed.
