Rudy had gotten up early because he knew they were scheduled to leave today. He walked out of his room and stretched. He slowly walked to the chair and sat down. He flicked some switches and some buttons and the ship started. He looked at the screen and checked the systems. Life support was green, communications were on, and the engines were working perfectly. He probably should get the captain's okay before he lifts off.
He stood up and peeked into Terence's room to see if he was up. He wasn't there. Good. If he was still sleeping he probably would have been naked in his lion form again. Rudy shivered.
He left the cockpit and checked around the ship. He finally found him in the engine room. "Hey cap, is it fine to take off now?" Rudy wasn't used to being the pilot on a ship with a crew. He had once but it was so long ago and for a short period of time.
