"Of course." Cain glanced around. Solomon hadn't come back yet. His crew must have been harder to round up than previously thought. Or something else had happened.
"Sir!" A soldier approached, "We've set up base as you asked!"
If the base was set up, Cain couldn't be wasting time standing around. He looked at Emerson's boy. What was his name? Reese. That's right. "Keep an eye on Reese here. He'll be waiting for the captain of this vessel to return."
"Yes sir!" He saluted.
"If you have any problems, I'll be a few stalls down." Cain said and then left. He doubted there would be any. Reese seemed spineless enough. As long as the elder Emerson didn't hear about his son's troubles, Cain wouldn't have to get involved in messy politics. He hated having to indulge anyone, no matter what their status was, but sometimes you had to in order to prevent a much more irritating future conflict.

"Alrighty," he nodded and had slowly made his way up the ramp into the ship. He paused and listened to Cain again and with a small wave finished his way up the ramp. There were a few men still on the ship and he cautiously wandered past them hoping he wouldn't end up in a similar situation as when he first approached the ship. He entered his room and pulled out his suitcase and placed the papers into a specific file.
Taking a moment to relax, he just sat on his bed and glanced around. So far, at least he wasn't loosing transportation in this mess. He put his glasses away and headed back out to see if anyone was coming back soon. He wasn't sure if he should say anything to the other soldiers or just let them do what ever.
