describe full personality = Gerard is a man of high class and knows it, though very respected he doesn't always let it get to his head. If un-angered he will hold a conversation happily. He is rather understanding and despite popular belief he does have more of heart than people think. But due to a short temper, some have become a bit scared of him and tend to listen better.[/size][/ul]
so the story begins...
Gerard grew up on the Top. Born into a wealthy family as the youngest of 4. He always felt as though he had something to prove while growing up. He was told the various family businesses would be first offered to his older brothers, he didn't like that. He felt he deserved them more than his brothers and pushed himself hard to learn what it would take to run all of the businesses being offered. He stressed himself out at an early age trying to learn Genetics, Medicine and Architecture. Though out of the three the one he seemed to enjoy the most was Genetics.
When one of his brothers was offered the opportunity to take over GeneCo Research & Development, he had declined in search of something more 'fun'. Gerard saw this as his opportunity to try and seize the business for himself. His father was unsure if he could handle it as at the same time Gerard had also been slowly indulging himself with a few of the girls in the area as a form of stress relief. He himself didn't see anything wrong with it, after all, they were the ones to come to him. But his father didn't like it at all. After a year or two His father finally gave in and promised him the company in a few years as long as he could prove h wasn't going to live his entire life fooling around with every attractive girl he laid his eyes on.
It wasn't until he had hit 21 that he met one girl who really caught his attention. It took a lot, but he eventually convinced her to mary him and it was then that his father finally deemed him ready and handed over the company.
At age 24 he and his wife finally had a baby boy. The kid grew up a bit spoiled but lacking in the attention area. Gerard often didn't notice his sons struggles with a social life. The kid turned out almost the complete opposite than he had, he refused to go into what Gerard wanted and insisted on learning about animals instead. It wasn't until little Reese, his only child attempted to through himself off of the platforms of the top did it hit him like a punch to the face. At least he was able to stop his kid in time and finally learned what was going on in his kids life. He grudgingly let Reese fly off to follow more of what he loved even though he really did not want to see his son leave the planet. But he also didn't want him to be unhappy being forced to do what Gerard wanted him to do.
Currently the company GeneCo Research & Development has been set to try and find ways to bring some of the now extinct animal species back into existence. He wasn't going to lie this direction was inspired by his son's love of these animals, but it was also to the benefit of some of the younger Terran's who have never experienced the sight of an animal before. Unfortunately a few key pieces of research had been stolen from them. Without this important research they would have to start back over from scratch, so it's pretty safe to say Gerard is furious about that situation.

Gerard paced the hall rubbing his temples in frustration. The workers at GeneCo Research & Development were doing their best to try and recover from the loss of information over the past year but none of their current results were turning out quite like what they had been before that criminal have slipped everything out from under their noses. Sure it was only a small piece of what the company is, one section, but the aftermath was disastrous to their works. The files had been stolen and wiped from their database. Gerard had thought their systems were under the highest protection, but unfortunately the crime had been committed from the inside.
"What are you missing?" He stopped and asked the scientist in front of him. Clearly there was some piece of the puzzle they had before and are missing now. He listened as the man had explained to him how a specific group of codes could possibly change everything they had and hopefully bring enough data to replace much of the missing stuff. "Go, try and work it out. Let me know if you come across anything big. And by big I mean something to dig us out of this fiking hole!"
If he ever got his hands on that man who made off with his companies research, there would be hell to pay.
