When they got back to the ship, Olive quickly went to work putting her few belongings into her room, finally feeling like it really belonged to her. She'd hung up her couple of dresses in the closet, and then turned to her other favourite things.
The best of all was the horse carved out of wood that Sol had made for her when she'd been about eleven years old. That she placed on the desk in the corner in a prized position. Next to it she placed a small flute made for her by her father, and a hair brush that her eldest brother had once brought back for her from a trip he'd taken to the space port.
She sank back onto her bed, happy to have some of her familiar things in the still cold and unfamiliar room that was now hers. She definitely hoped her decision to push to stay on the ship had been a good idea. She supposed they would soon find out...

Reese had been out and about again, glad the military on guard finally let him come and go. He went to go buy some food and was currently headed back to the Adeala with a cup of coffee. He was minding his own business and going back to his room when he suddenly tripped on something. What? He wasn't quite sure. He tumbled forward and hit his face on what he thought was the door to his own room, with a nice thud, and crumpled to the floor.
"Ugghh..." he groaned, but was happy when he realized he managed to spare his cup of coffee by subconsciously holding his arm out when he fell. He slowly sat up and rubbed his forehead as he felt the quick formation of a bump. Did he just give himself a concussion? Way to go genius...

Olive looked up surprised when she heard a loud thump against her door. Did someone just die?? she wondered. Maybe Sol was right about the safety...
Still curious though, she got up and headed for the door. She cracked it open and realized no one was there. Well, except the blonde stranger on the floor in the hallway, holding a cup of coffee straight out in the air. She lifted an eyebrow as she inspected him. He didn't look very scary at all. "Uhmmm... who are you??"

Reese sat there for a second just staring as the door was opened. Was he hallucinating? He wasn't sure if the little animal legs in front of him were actually apart of the girl or if it was from him hitting his head too hard. "Y-you have animal legs... Th-that's cool," He closed his eyes for a second and shook his head.
"I uh... Reese," he said and rubbed his head again. He slowly stood up and glanced around a bit.

She glanced down at her legs, confused. "I have me legs..." This guy was pretty weird! What was he talking about?
Olive reached out a hand to help him up, still having no idea who the heck he was. "Well Mister Reese, what are you doing on this ship? Are you one of the soldiers Sol told me about?? You don't look very threatening. No offense or anything..."

Once he finally regained himself a bit he could properly answer the questions thrown at him. "None taken..." he paused for a second before continuing, "A soldier? Me? Oh no... New passenger..." He pointed to the room next to the one the girl had appeared from. He opened the door to show her the stuff he had out as proof. Remembering the coffee in his hand he took a sip and made a sigh at the throbbing going through his head.
"You a passenger?" he asked curiously. It was the only explanation to her being in a passenger room unless he really was hallucinating, in which case he really should be laying down for a bit. Well he should be laying down either way.

"Ohhh right!" Olive was pretty sure she remembered Sol mentioning a new passenger on their way back to the space port. This was probably who he'd been referring to. He was pretty tall, but not like Booker tall or anything. He was far less intimidating than all the other guys on the ship.
"I'm kinda a passenger kinda crew I guess..." Olive responded to his question. "I'm the Captain's friend!" She beamed, sticking her hand out again, this time for a hand shake, and this time hoping he'd actually take it. "My name's Olive!"

He took her hand for a shake and made a small smile. The girl was so small, almost like a toy, which was a weird comparison... But it was true. "Well at least there's another person on board that doesn't look like they'll kill me in my sleep." He felt better with that knowledge. But it was funny how the only ones who looked like they couldn't or wouldn't cause damage were the girls.
He couldn't get over how quickly that bump had formed. "How bad does it look?" he questioned a bit concerned as he didn't exactly carry a mirror with him.

"Let me see!" she reached up to grab his head and pull it lower so she could inspect the bump. It wasn't too bad, but it still definitely looked painful. "It'll probably look worse tomorrow! One time one of my brothers fell and bonked his head on a rock. I dunno I guess it was all wet or something. But he had a bruise that changed colours it was so bad! Like purples and greens and all sortsa grossness."
Though she was pretty sure there had also been blood involved. Didn't look like Reese had cut his head tough, thankfully enough. That meant no mess. Just a big ol bruise.

The sudden pull almost made him a little dizzy and he had to close his eyes again for a short time. Her story wasn't exactly comforting... He didn't really want a big colorful bruise on his forehead but was happy he didn't split any skin. And also on the plus side, he had only hit a door, not a rock. A rock is more solid and definitely would have caused more damage.
"I should probably find some ice shouldn't I...?" He frowned a bit. Ice might help the bump from getting big, but he'd rather just sit for a while then go searching for some.

"I guess. I dunno what ice does..." Olive replied letting go of him. She pointed down the hall. "But you should probably see Booker. He can probably help you cause he's a doctor! He would know what to do!"
Reese seemed nice enough. He wasn't immediately scary like Blaine was--even if Blaine really wasn't scary or mean, he kinda looked it. Reese seemed more like a regular guy to Olive.

"Ice can help avoid bumps and stuff from getting bigger... Booker, he's the huge guy right?" Reese asked to clarify, "Wait... He's a doctor?!" That wasn't very expected, if anything he pictured the guy as a wrestler and was hired as a body guard or something. Not a doctor, this ship seemed to be getting stranger and stranger. But at least there weren't as many people as those huge passenger ships.
A doctor would be a good idea come to think of it. He thanked the faun and apologized for disturbing her. Now, off to locate this Booker fellow. He shouldn't be too hard to find, after all he wasn't exactly a normal sized guy.
Slowly trailing his way through the ship he stopped and peaked into the med bay to see if anyone was there.

Booker was arranging things in the cabinets of the medical bay. It was filed with medicines, vaccines, tools, and bandages in this cabinet. It was filled and kind of messy. It had been such a short time and he was already getting sloppy. He should try hard not to mess his supplies up. e took some of the medicines and vaccines in a lower drawer.
Suddenly he heard a loud bang. Booker peered out the door of the room and looked down the hallway both ways. He couldn't see anything from the medical bay so he thought that maybe something had fallen in the cargo bay or something, nothing serious.
After a couple minutes he finished organizing. He walked to the door and stopped before exiting the room. He heard some people talking in the hall, then someone walking his way. He stood in the doorway as Reese's head peaked into the room. As soon as he looked in, Booker shouted, "Hey Reese!"

"Yeeah!" He yelped and stumbled back a bit almost hitting the back of his head. Reese hadn't expected the guy to be right there and he scared him. Only this time he fumbled his cup of coffee and spilled it on his shirt. "Ack!" The hot liquid had quickly seeped through his shirt. He grabbed his shirt and did his best to hold it off of his skin. "Haa.... hot!"
Today was just one of those days. One of those days that unfortunately happened a little too often. He sighed and looked at the now empty cup sitting on the ground.
"I uh... was wondering if you had some ice, or something, for my head... I hit my head..." He continued to hold his shirt so it didn't touch his stomach. The red on his forehead and start of a bump was probably pretty obvious to Booker

Booker just stood and stared as this clumsy guy was becoming clumsier by the second. He held back a laugh when he spilled coffee on his shirt. He just smiled. This guy would probably need more treatment from Booker more than anyone on this ship. He was pretty much slowly killing himself.
"Sure Reese." Even though he already knew what happened because he heard the loud bang a couple minutes earlier, he asked anyway, just to hear him say it. "What happened? How did you hit your head?"
