Enan wasn't completely comfortable staying on Nox, with the Vampires roaming just past the borders of the spaceport, but he was still a little bit curious what it was like off the ship and actually on the planet. He wasn't sure if he should leave the ship or not, but he hadn't really had any fresh air in a while.
After enjoying another well made meal by Quillan he sat on the ramp just after Klove and Castle left. He just watched the spaceport and the people, err, weres... wander about. At this point he wasn't sure he'd willingly leave this spot unless to go back into the ship. He just liked the fresh air he got from sitting on the ramp.
If he could, he'd try and relax a bit, but for some reason just the knowledge of some of the things that have happened on this planet wasn't letting him.

Comfortably full, and feeling drowsy, Grace did a quick headcount of the crew. She didn't have much in the way of maternal instincts and felt even less desire to be a 'mother' to anyone, but as a captain, she did feel a need to make sure her crew was safe. Quillian was safe in the kitchen, Castle and Klove were out drinking and she could trust them to watch each other's backs. The goblin was dead, and only Enan was unaccounted for.
She found him sitting on the ramp, looking out of their docking bay to look at the passing people. He was looking scruffy, and Grace was fond of it. He looked more handsome with the facial hair.
Grace sat down beside him, stretching out. She wasn't quite tall enough to reach the ground, even with her legs lying flat on the smooth metal ramp. The night air was clean and cool. The Queen's filters were working on getting the old air out, sucking in the new, but that would take another six or seven hours before the strange lingering smells were gone and replaced by this.
"Thinking about heading out?" She asked him.

He smiled as Grace had stretched out beside him. "I'm not really sure," He replied and glanced back out at the port. Forests around the port were both peaceful and a little bit creepy to him. He wasn't sure if he wanted to explore them or stay clear completely.
"Considering I don't know much about this place other than the murdering living dead out there and the fuzzy shape shifters here, I'd probably either get myself lost or killed." He laughed slightly. But it was true, he didn't know anything beyond the ship. If he went out, even in search of just a simple store, he was pretty much guaranteed to get himself lost. Enan was pretty sure Grace and Klove could walk the port blindfolded and not get lost. They just seemed completely comfortable with anything that went down, despite the burst of anger on Grace's end from the amush.

She chuckled along with him. It was nice to have someone cautious aboard. Most of the mercs she hired were reckless. As long as they had a gun with them, they'd happily wade straight into danger, leaving Grace to bail them out of jail or leave them there to rot if they really pissed her off.
"It's not as dangerous as it looks, assuming you don't pick a fight with someone who's actually a rino, and assuming you don't go wandering in the woods." Grace stretched and sighed happily as her back popped and instant relief swam through her. "And if you do go out, grab a padd and use it as a map. I've got my notes set as public for any of the ship's padds."
Notes were one of the best features of the Universal Positioning System built into every padd. Grace could make a note about a building, that it was a good place to drink or that certain crew members should avoid because of bounty hunters, and any other member of the ship using padds synced up with the ship's systems could have access to them and add their own. Grace had extensive notes about every spaceport, and a number of spacestations. They were always good for the new guys, even though most of them never bothered to use the notes because they had stainless steel balls (and fluff for brains).

"Oh well I'm not going out to pick a fight. But, I may be forced to finish one if it comes down to it." He laughed. He wasn't the type to start a fight, but often when hanging out at bars you get those drunk guys who think their tougher than they are and pick fights with the wrong person. Enan has knocked a few people out here and there after they attempted to pick fights with him. He ignores them for the most part but sometimes just gets irritated and finishes what the other person started.
"I might just go for a drink, or something." He stated. He was just hesitant to go and end up in the same place as the other two. He could tell Castle didn't really like him, and if they guy constantly had a gun on him like he'd seen, he didn't have a desire to get in the man's way.

Grace nodded. She could see that, especially with that brother of his. Big guys were a target for little ones to try prove something with, and if you were hanging with a mouthy little guy, then you became a target for everybody. People didn't throw punches at Grace too often. Nobody liked to hit the girl they were hoping to take home. And everybody mistook her smaller size as proof that her hits would be nothing but light love-taps.
Grace had started and ended a number of fights with just one punch because of those thoughts. That was one nice thing about being a girl.
Enan seemed to be hesitating. He hadn't gone with Klove and Castle, which meant he probably wasn't looking to go drinking at a bar, or at least not at their particular bar. There were a few other bars around the Port, but most of them were total dives. But Grace knew another option. It was one she and the other Molls had done all the time, back when they'd been way too young for any bar to serve them.
"I know where a liquor store is, if it's the beer you really want instead of the company of strangers. And I know a great park to get wasted in."

Just get wasted in a park? That was definitely something he could see Caden doing. He made a small snicker picturing his brother stumbling around. "Sure, why not." He agreed with a smiled. At least she knew her way around and a good beer would be fantastic right about now.
"It's funny how the forest can seem so peaceful and yet so eerie at the same time." He stated, and glanced out towards the trees again. "If I didn't know what was out there I would be tempted to explore it." Something about the forests here were so different than the forests he'd seen on Antheia. Antheia was quiet but it just felt safer, it was a difficult thing to explain properly. Anthiea was also brighter, even in the dead of night, something about it seemed to give it more lighting.

Grace got to her feet, turning around to offer Enan a hand up. She hadn't gotten drunk in a park in ages, and she was looking forward to it, if only for the nostalgia value.
"They look haunted." And they did, gnarled roots and bare branches jutting this way and that. Even the trees still in bloom were sickly compared to the plants found anywhere else. The few the grew on Glacies had the decency to be evergreens, but here, they were like something you saw in a horror movie.
"This whole planet is haunted. You should see the old human ruins. Klove took me out there once, during the day of course, and they're really eerie." Klove had been fourteen then, and they'd spent the whole day just exploring the ruins. He caught a fox hiding in one of the houses and ate up, and Grace spent her time turning over old bricks and looking at places where wood had once been, until it all rotted away and left nothing but the foundations.

He took her hand, despite not really needing it and smiled. "Haunted or not, you can't tell me that if it was your first time here, not knowing what was out there, that you wouldn't want to explore. Because even if you say no. I probably won't believe you." He grinned.
Human ruins huh? How long ago had the humans died off on this planet? It couldn't have been very recent as the vampires wouldn't have looked as desperate as they did for blood. He couldn't help but keep staring into the forest.

"The first time I was here, right after I got my cash, I immediately headed out into the woods that way." As they walked down the street, she pointed to the right, to a grove of old trees. "And I got completely lost. I spent six or seven hours just wandering around in the woods. I couldn't even see the spaceport anymore at one point. But I eventually found my way back before someone tried to make me into a snack."
She'd been alone then, no crew members to come looking for her if she fucked up, but she hadn't ever been afraid. Grace didn't do fear. If this was her time to die, then it was her time, and she'd been carrying a flare gun to deal with vampires. All the same, she had at least made sure to bring GPS with her next time she went wandering.
The streets were sparse, a few weres passing along every so often. It was best to assume that everyone was a were around here. Most of them were alright. She glanced at Enan, wondering how much she should tell him about her trips to the planet. She liked him. And she wanted him to trust her.
"Wandering around isn't a bad thing, as long as you do it during the day. That's how I met Klove." She said rather casually, waiting to see if he'd pick up on the underlying meaning.
