Crystal knew instantly upon meeting Celyn that something had to be done about her. She was way too close to Terence, and what was worse, she was human. What Terence could possibly see in a human was beyond her, but once Crys had been shooed away by Chase--gods he was annoying!--she'd quickly formulated a plan to remedy this interference. It would just mean playing nice for a bit.
Crystal had decided to wait until after they'd eaten dinner to head towards the lions' home. If anything went wrong, well-fed lions were way better than hungry ones if they were going to get angry at you. Also, she needed it to be dark.
They didn't come out until dark.
She finally arrived at the Yorick household around 7pm, putting herself in a friendly mindset as she began spotting various were-lions around the area, hanging outside after stuffing themselves full like they usually did.
Now, she just had to figure out where the human girl was...

Dinner was wonderful, Besides watching all the Family gorge on raw meat, It was good. Her little plate of cooked meat was delicious, whatever they used to Marinate was brilliant. After dinner had finished most of the Crew moved outside to lay about on Various rocks and other formations. Chatting and such. It was then that Celyn took her chance to look around a bit more. As Tere was busy in conversation, one that seemed to be interesting for the other were's.
With a smile on her face and a full belly, she sauntered around the Village like area. Stopping every once in awhile to look at some weird rock or a flower. Nox was so different from Terra. Everything was either made from scratch or clearly purchased from a human. Possibly before the dead one's killed them all. A shiver ran down her spine as she thought about them, Hazel eye's stared deep into the dark forest that seemed to edge closer and closer by each minute...
Sighing softly she sat down on a Rock, Hands under her chin in a rather bored fashion, as she stared back over at Tere. Watching as he told stories and waved his hands about. Softly she laughed. It was getting dark, but just as she was about to get up to head back she heard a twig snap behind her. It was Crystal...

She finally spotted her sitting off on a rock by herself. How very perfect. If Crystal was lucky, no one would even notice her if they weren't paying attention to their senses. She sometimes wondered just how good lion senses were compared to foxes. She'd always heard they were probably better, but boy did she always manage to sneak up on them with ease.
She smiled as sweetly as possible as Celyn looked up, noticing her. "Hi there! Was dinner good?" She sat down next to the other girl on the rock, glancing around at the others who were off chatting.

Celyn remember Chase talking about Crystal. She was crazy, but she didn't seem to crazy now. Of course not, She was crazy...A crazy person could hide their craziness couldn't they? As Crystal came and took a seat next to her, she nervously ran a hand through her hair. Crys was crazy about Tere, she knew that well Crys probably wasn't happy about their friendship, Or whatever you'd call it. She really didn't know.
But Celyn wasn't mean, it was hard for her to even strike back when someone was bullying her. So as Crystal spoke kindly a smile quickly graced her lips "Hey, yeah dinner was good. They sure do know how to whip up a mean steak.." she stated with a nervous laugh. Sure she could be nice, but that didn't mean that Crys' kindness didn't make her feel awkward.

"Oh they do!" Crys nodded in agreement. "Big cats really have the knack for that, I don't know how they do it." She guessed they knew meat because they were the top predators. Sometimes she wished she were one of them, rather than the tiny scavenger she was. Maybe then Terence would be more receptive to her...
She glanced around at the scene. So far no one seemed to have noticed her. "So... how do you like Nox so far?"

Nervously she fidgeted with a boot, The suede material warm against what little flesh was visible between the top of her boots to the hem of her jean shorts. Tere had warned it was going to be chilly, but she never expected it to be this much. As Crys spoke again she let her gaze fall on her once more, and she nodded in silent agreement with her statement.
Something about the way Crys was talking to her, was it genuine or just a show? But the better half of Celyn could only think the first. She never could imagine someone wishing to harm her, and so she smiled softly at her next statement "It's different then Terra, it's colder for one." she stated softly with another laugh "It's not crowded, and the houses..Well They are just beautiful. If It wasn't for all these dead beings running around out there... Well I wouldn't see why i'd want to leave." her gaze fell once more on the distant form of Tere and she smiled softly. Forgetting that well a past girl of his was sitting there next to her, So she cleared her throat and ran a hand through her hair "So uhm, What are you doing out here so late?" she asked softly.

"Colder? Is Terra a hot planet?" Crys wondered. A whole planet full of humans had to be unpleasant, Crys thought. All their ships and computers and weird things. Maybe that's why it was so warm. Either way, she knew she never wanted to go there.
"What am I doing out so late? Just exploring, mostly," Crys replied, baiting her. "There's this really awesome waterfall I like to go to just a little ways away from here. I like to sit there sometimes. It's very pretty."

She once again nodded her head "Well Terra is a bit warmer then Nox. With all the ships coming and going it always stinks like fuel as well...Its nice to get away and relax for awhile..." she stated softly.
Listening to Crys speak she smiled, Wow a waterfall? Again Terra was so metal now that Waterfalls and River's were mainly found on the outskirts of the city. A place that not many humans wander alone. "Well maybe we could go there...One day or something?" she asked. If Crys didn't want to go..Well that would be ok. They could go another time right? It was nice, Crys was being so nice, She didn't seem like the same Crazy girl at the Spaceport.

"Oh I was headed there right now!" Crys replied happily. Mostly she was happy that this was working perfectly, but it was fine that it translated to an excitement about an adventure as well. "It's the best this time of night. Did you want to come now?"
She got up from the rock. "I might have to be in animal form to sniff it out properly cause I'm better at finding places that way. But I'll be orange and easy to see, so you can just stay close to me!"

Celyn's smile never vanished as Crys spoke, Happy that it seemed maybe her obsession with Tere had ended. Perhaps she just came to facts that, Well he didn't want to be with her. "I'd Love to." she stated happily. She looked over at Tere, he seemed wrapped up in a interesting story with some of the younger were's. So instead of bothering him she just turned to head off..
"That's fine, I'm sure I can keep up.." she stated. If not she'd just have to let Crys know to slow down. Not a single worry crossed her mind... Finally she'd really get to see a waterfall!

"Cool. Yeah, just let me know if I'm going too fast," Crystal said. Not that Crys planned to listen...
Crystal started to shift to her fox form, shrinking down to the ground quickly. Her tail popped out at the same time her fox senses kicked in stronger. A Were always had their animal senses about them even when they were in human form, but it was stronger and easier in animal form to use them.
Not that Crys was actually looking for a waterfall. There wasn't one for miles and miles. What Crys was actually going to search for was the edge of the forest. And being small and non-human shaped also helped her avoid being jumped as quick by vampires. Given a choice between a human and a fox, a vampire would definitely pick the human.
She did her best happy fox smile at Celyn and then headed on into the trees at a slow pace to make sure Celyn could keep up, and to keep her at ease.

One last look back at the scene, and then she turned back to face the now little fox. A soft smile, and then they were off. Her stomach churned a bit as they entered the forest, The darkness was something to get accustomed to, Thankfully one of the many moons was giving some light, and the little scurrying form of Crys could be seen out infront of her.
Little did Celyn know that she was being led somewhere totally different. She kept listening for the loud roar of the waterfall, but it never did come. Maybe it was a smaller one, You know the type that's not as large as she's imagining. She had to stop one time, as a branch snagged her white shirt, rripping the thin material so that her skin was showing. It didn't slow her down to much, and she quickly ran to catch up to Crys "So about how much farther is it?" she asked as she pulled some brush out of her face and then continued on.
She looked over her shoulder, No longer was the roof of the house visible, not even the smoke from the campfire outside. It was all gone. Vanished. They must really be far... She gulped slightly and quickly picked up her pace as the noises of the forest started to pick up.

Stupid human. Why bother talking to an animal that couldn't talk back in English? Crys didn't bother attempting to respond. The girl probably wouldn't understand a fox trying to mime anyway.
Crystal kept on walking and as they wandered deeper into the trees, Crys finally quickened her pace, just enough to hopefully make Celyn walk faster to try to keep up with her. She sniffed the air on occasion, trying to pick up some form of the dead scent of vampire. So far, there was nothing. Crystal was getting impatient and annoyed. She trotted on, even faster now.

It was like the deeper into the forest they got, the faster Crys would go. Celyn did her best to keep on her tail, getting snagged every once in awhile and getting slowed down a bit. Damn tree's wouldn't stop snagging her clothes, Like they didn't want her to go any farther.
Celyn grunted slightly as she leapt over a fallen log, her hazel eye's darted around looking for Crys, off to the right! There she is. Crys was moving even faster now, and Celyn struggled now to keep on her tail. Being caught by tree's, or having to climb over fallen debris, Whilst the small fox was able to clear the objects a bit More gracefully then she..
The air was even colder now, her skin tingled as the air brushed across her face. Why was did it get so cold, so fast!? She hoped they'd be there soon. A thorn had snagged the bare flesh of her right leg, Crimson liquid bubbled at the top. She grumbled to herself, it wasn't a deep wound just a scratch, but it sure did burn!

Once Crys knew they were sufficiently deep into the forest and far nearer to the other edge than she would normally have wandered around in, she ran off at full tilt. She pretty much assumed Celyn would be completely lost at this point, having paid more attention to following the fox than any of the notable ways to track one's way in the forest.
Finally she picked up a scent that she knew meant nearing vampires. Perfect! She took off in the opposite direction of the way the scent was coming. No way she was putting herself in the way. Crys had done her job. It was now Celyn's job to get herself into trouble on her own. No more stupid human. Terence is mine!
