Lealia grinned and nodded to Unwin when he thanked her. She was just glad that this was all working out. But she wasn't sure if she should follow or not. While she was aware of Unwin's abilities, he might not be comfortable with her knowing everything. But on the other hand, she didn't want to go when the excitement was here.
Instead she compromised and followed them inside, ducking off to go stare at the engine. It was a real piece of work, and Lealia liked trying to make sense of the clutter. Most of it had been built by Jenos Holo, whose work Lealia had extensively studied while in university. She'd seen him and Grace talking once through the viewscreen, and even though he'd looked like a million years old, his mind was still sharp.
She got herself a seat up on top of a fuel pipe and started trying to figure out exactly how the whole damned mess sorted itself out.

Grace took Unwin back to the mess, noting when Lealia darted off to go stare at the engine. Hopefully the dwarf didn't come back until later, or she'd be pissed to find someone else touching the internals of the ship. Fighting with Lealia was just a bad idea in general, even if she didn't look too scrappy.
Enan was where she'd left him. Grace did a quick introduction. "Enan, this is Unwin. Unwin, this is Enan." She sat up on the table, resting her feet on a stool. "Payment after the diagnosis, but before the treatment." That was the usual way of things in the Underworld. Being told your arm was fiked up was free, it was the setting that cost you.

Enan was going through some of the things Grace had been able to pick up for him when he was given a heads up that someone was probably coming by for him. When the man was lead in the only thing that really made him feel a bit uneasy was that yellow eye looking around. What the hell was that? It clearly wasn't natural.
"Come in," When he finally got to taking off the wrapping on Unwin's arm he knew right away it wasn't just a break he'd be dealing with. "You're arm needs to be re-set, and you've got an infection." There was something else but he would have to actually get in on a small operation to properly figure it out. He would let Grace figure out the cost.
"I'm gonna need you to let me know what happened and how long it's been like this." He stated.

Castle was dealing with business in the bathroom when he heard some new voices on the ship. He finished up, washed his hands and entered the mess hall to see what was up. There was a new girl and a new guy. The man had a cast on his arm so he was probably seeing Breese for some medical attention. After some careful studying he finally noticed the man's weird yellow eye. What's up with that?
The girl was cute. She seemed very cheery and happy to be there. Castle had somewhat of a thing for Redheads. But what was this girl doing on the Underworld. Well, looks can be deceiving, right?
He sat down on a chair away from everyone. This wasn't something he needed to concern himself in. He pulled out the padd he had found on the dead ship earlier and started discovering new features on it.

"That's fine," Unwin said in reply to Grace. That's how he expected it to work, any one who was smart would have asked the same thing. He had wandered over to Enan and let him do the unwrapping of the arm. He knew it had to be reset, but didn't like the work infection.
"Well lets see... Back on Terra I decided to stock up on a few needed things and ran into a problem... You know how the military is. I got caught up in I guess a bit of an argument and bam! Large scary black dude snapped it like a twig..." He smiled like the story was nothing, "That was... about a week ago?"
Unwin glanced up at the other man that had walked in, probably a part of the ship. The guy didn't really seem to care about what was going on so Unwin ignored him and kept his attention on Enan and his own arm.

"No, I don't know how the military is," Enan raised an eyebrow as he prepared a needle to give Unwin a shot to numb his arm. He had never had a run in with any sort of real military unless it was to pick up Caden or something from a police station after doing something stupid. So he really had no experience with how the Government worked in that area.
"A week? No wonder you've got an infection, why wasn't it taken care of sooner? Your 'military problem' should have done something about it." He stated. "They don't usually leave stuff like this." He turned back to Unwin filling the syringe.
"I need to actually open the arm up to see the extent of what needs to be done." He added to Grace.

Unwin couldn't resist bursting out into laughter at the doctors statement. "Should have fixed it? Yes. Did they? No. They leave this kind of thing all the time," Unwin couldn't believe he was hearing what he was. This guy was clearly a law following drone and had no idea what went on behind the scenes.
"Where'd you find this guy?" He asked Grace with a laugh. "Dude, you totally remind me of all the pricks I steal shit from. They've got their heads so far up their aahahaooowwww" He was cut off by Enan shoving the needle forcefully into his arm and giving him a glare before actually ejecting the contents. "Fiking hell..."

Grace snorted at Enan's naivety. It really was to be expected, but it didn't make it any less hilarious to hear him describing the Terran Military in glowing terms. And then she snorted again when Enan physically needled Unwin, "Yeah, go ahead and cut into the arm to get a better look." She said to Enan.
"And don't hold it against him. Three weeks ago, I liberated him from Terra and he's finally getting a taste of the way life works for everybody else." Grace leaned back, weight resting on her arms. Her shirt tugging up a bit, and the nasty scars on her stomach carefully peeked out again. "Unwin here is relatively well off. At least he's got his arm more or less intact. And it looks like you got interrupted before he could get all your fingernails out."
She nodded to the missing nails on his hand. Grace had seen that before. Meant that Cain had taken a whack at Unwin, and was probably responsible for that broken arm too. Seemed like Cain's style. He was a bully with a spaceship, nothing more.

The rough stab of the needle wasn't something he normally did, but this guy was starting to get on his nerves. It served as a warning and a simple reminder that he was the one responsible for fixing his arm, and he could easily fik something up further if he really wanted to.
"So they do this kind of stuff often?" He asked Grace. It didn't seem right, as far as he knew they at least cleaned up after themselves and fixed things. After all they had medical positions specifically for the jails and holding cells. Or so he thought.
Once the drugs started to take affect he carefully cut more into Unwin's arm. He wasn't quite sure what to say when he saw the different color bones. What the hell has this guy done to himself. "What the fik is this?" He asked in a more stern tone. "You wanna let me know what I'm trying to work with?"

"All the time. It's their little way of reminding us that we're not on the same level as them." Grace leaned back forward, peering at the arm as Enan cut into it. "If you're not Middle or Top, they've got no reason to treat you like a human being. Hell, they do worse to the non-humans all the time."
She sat back and watched Enan get serious with Unwin. It was nice seeing his gruffer side coming out. It was more that just potential he had. Of course, Grace wasn't totally sure what was up with Unwin, but she could guess. BodMod was popular on the Underworld. People didn't just dye their hair or weird contacts; they cut their ears into points and filed their teeth sharp, or had electronics implanted under their skin. You upgraded their body like you would upgrade a car. All you needed was money, and someone who knew how to use a knife.

"What the fik is what?" He looked over to see what he was talking about, "Oohhh yeah, that. Don't worry bout that, it should be fine. Just do what you would normally do. The only difference is the color and density... so... yeah." That's what he guessed. Maybe that was a factor in why it wasn't healing properly?
He pulled out his padd so he was ready to transfer the money when needed. It was better to have the thing in reach so he could do things quickly. There was nothing more frustrating than someone diddling around and taking forever to pay for something.
"Is it fixable?" he asked, "Cause if not... Fik it, do it anyway..." He put the padd down and pulled the vial he brought out of his pocket. "I'll toss in extra money if can do something else once the bone is set again." He held up the small vial. "Stick a bit of this in there?"

He shook his head and rolled his eyes at Unwin. Did he not even know the results of what he did to himself? "It's fixable as long as any changes didn't ruin you're bones regenerative cells. Because if you fiked that up this break is permanent." He was bout to get a better look at the break when Unwin had pulled out his little vial of, whatever was in it.
He stared for a second and then closed his eyes giving an irritated sigh. "What is that? I'm not putting anything in this unless I know what it is." This guy was starting to give him a head ache and if it was up to him he'd 'accidentally' slice a tendon if it kept going like this.

"It's just a few various chemicals and perhaps a little re codded DNA..." Unwin paused, "Nothing big." He insisted on handing over the vial. "Come on... I know what I'm doing, I mean... look at this." He pointed to his eye. "Completely on purpose." That was a lie. The sight part yes. The appearance, not so much. But they didn't need to know that.
"Also... What are we thinking price wise? For this whole me sitting here having someone poke around at my arm, thing?" He turned his question at Grace. She'd be the one with the answers right? Of course.

Grace tallied it up in her head. A broken arm wasn't too much work, and he was supplying his own chemicals. On the other hand, considering what a mess he'd made of his own body, it could take more effort than it looked like at first glance. And Enan was a real doctor, which was worth more. "$800." She settled on.
"Enan, do as he says. It's his body and he can muck it up however he wants, once he's paid of course." Grace really didn't care what he was doing to his arm. After all, she didn't have to see the end result of whatever that did to him. And you couldn't charge a malpractice suit against someone for doing what you told them to do, especially if the technology used was illegal.

Unwin's eye was kind of creepy, and he felt weird having him stare at him the way he was. He took the vial and made a small snort of disapproval. But Grace was right, it was his choice. Once Unwin looked like he had finished with his money transfer he moved to set the bone the way it should have been. He added in some antibiotics for the infection and stubbornly got another syringe for what ever it was this guy wanted.
He followed instructions on where to put it in and then just before he was about to stitch him back up something caught his attention. He quickly moved to pull the small device from just under his skin. "What the hell is this?" he held it up to examine it better.
