Sol couldn't help but turn away as Cass started to unclothe and then disassemble herself. It felt wrong to watch her pulling her limbs away. She was putting herself in the most vulnerable position she could be in, putting her full trust in them to keep her safe. The weight of that decision was not lost on Sol. Watching her do it, while fascinating in a sense, just felt like an even further intrusion.
When she was done, he turned back, slightly unnerved by the sight of a girl with all her limbs apart from her body. He forced his composure back. "Okay, uh, you mentioned you were pretty heavy. Do you think it will take multiple people to carry you or... maybe Booker, if you can be absolutely careful, can you get her into the bigger crate there on your own? Caden and I can get her limbs packed away..." They were possibly the weirdest words to ever come out of his mouth. He forced back a shudder, trying not to think of it like he was just instructing what to do with a chopped up body.

Booker was uncomfortable with the idea of picking up a girl with not limbs. Where do hold her so it's not extremely awkward? But the captain wanted him to so it so he would suck up his discomfort and do what he said. "Aye, aye, cap!" He saluted.
He attempted to lift her up after looking for a safe place to hold onto. He managed to slide his arms under her back and lifted her that way. He was surprised at how heavy she was even with her arms and legs off. She definitely didn't look like she should be so heavy. It was probably the sockets that held the limbs in. He looked at her and awkwardly let out: "Hi..."
He slowly and carefully walked over to the crate and set her down hopefully the most comfortable way. Then once he was done he let out his deep breath he held in. "All done, Cap."

Caden watched with amusement at how awkward Booker looked when he picked her up and packed her away. He made a small snicker to himself and brought one of the arms he had picked up to one of the other crates. The arm wasn't exactly light to most peoples standards, but considering what it was made of it it was pretty light.
He turned to pick up the other arm but stopped. "I think it would be better off, for evening out the weight, to have one of each in a crate," He lifted up one of the legs on the ground, propping it up like it would be if it was in use. "As the legs have more material to them, making them heavier than the arms."
He could probably carry both legs in one box, but he wasn't sure how long. He could lift more than people thought, but that was only because he worked with heavy parts and machinery for a living.

Being picked up was predictable but... undeniably awkward. Booker was gentle, which she appreciated, and kept his hands off of anything she would have felt uncomfortable about. She gave him her best friendly smile, even though her heart was racing. "hi."
But once she was settled in, she felt a little better. It was soft in the box, and not so bad. Cass knew it wouldn't be so nice once they covered her up and shut the lid, but this was better than anything Cain had in store for her. She watched Caden handle her arms and legs, clearly less uncomfortable than either Solomon or Booker. Maybe because he was an engineer? He was right about the legs, they were heavier than the arms.
Cass just lay still, waiting for them to get under way.

Solomon watched Booker carefully place Cassandra into the crate, all while still trying to figure out what to use to cover her with. Perhaps he could buy some vegetables from the Denvers. He wasn't quite sure what other supplies might work, and they certainly had no use for hay in space. He glanced around, pausing at the trees in the distance.
Olive had told him to grab some wood to make some more carvings. Suddenly it seemed like a good idea. All they would need to do is claim and pay for the weight of the removed wood at the space port, so the officials there could track how much was being removed from the planet. They kept a close eye on that stuff for the Elves, so that the entire planet wasn't steamrollered in a day to provide Terra with wood. It was the main reason that wood was still so highly prized and worth anything on Terra: it was so carefully regulated on the planets it was removed from.
He nodded to himself as he finalized the plan in his head. Meanwhile Caden was figuring out a smart way to transport Cass' limbs. He sent him a nod as well. "Good idea. Get her other limbs in the other box and then come meet me in the woods. We're going to gather some wood to fill the boxes with."
He hurried off in the direction of the trees, feeling confident in the plan. The only downside to this idea, however, was how much more heavy the boxes were going to get while filled with wood. And how much extra it was going to cost to claim Cass' weight as logs and sticks.

With an okay from Solomon and a nod from himself in return he lifted the leg to pack it away nicely with the arm. The only part that was really weird for him was the fact that the limbs were covered in a very realistic synthetic skin. Otherwise the knowledge that they were mechanical kept him from being a little grossed out about the idea of carrying disembodied limbs around.
Wait... did he say wood? Is that really a good idea? Wood gets heavy... Add that to the weight of these and they may have a bit of a problem. He was about to say something but Solomon had already quickly wandered off. "Wood...? Really?" He asked, skeptical about what Solomon was thinking.
After packing the other limbs away he took a moment to pause by the crate Cassandra was laying in. "Comfy?" He asked with a small smirk. He couldn't help but find this whole Antheia situation strange but amusing at the same time.

Wood? That was going to be uncomfortable, and troublesome if it poked any holes in the skin. She'd just reapplied it after all. But it would explain the weight of the limbs better than most other things. And really, Cass couldn't be picky about this.
She smiled a bit nervously at Caden. "yeah... sorta. it isn't uncomfortable." Which was the best she could ask. Talking to him did make her feel a bit better, like she was still a person instead of, well... a limbless torso. She wasn't dead after all. Just completely helpless and unable to help if anything went wrong.
Cass was suddenly reminded of all the nightmares she'd had that started sort of like this. That wasn't really helping her calm down. She did her best to shove back the fright she was feeling and to keep focusing on what she would do when she was on the ship. There would be engines to look at with Caden, and she could thank Magdalen for all her kindness and she could tell Klove all about her adventures (well. not all about. she wasn't sure she wanted to tell him she came to pieces, literally). These were good goals to have, calming goals.

He could tell she seemed nervous, hell he didn't blame her. He'd be pretty nervous too if he was about to be helplessly packed away. "I'll try to make sure he doesn't damage anything too much, but he seems pretty determined on what he's doing." He paused and lightly moved a stray hair from her face, "Don't worry kid, everything'll be fine." He gave a reassuring smile and lightly drummed his fingers on the side of the crate before heading over to help Solomon out.
Gathering some wood? Easy. Carrying heavy mechanical bits? Easy. Carrying them both together? Not exactly... But that was what Solomon wanted to do, and with him being the captain and all, Caden really couldn't do too much about it. Besides, the plan made sense.

Sol had begun scouring for felled trees and bigger banches that might be useful in the long run. He realized he probably should have grabbed an axe on the way to get it done faster, but such was the dangers of playing a plan by ear. He was already filling his arms with some decent pieces when Caden approached.
"I know it sounds crazy, but this will work," he explained as he piled another nice sized piece of wood onto his collection. "It'll hide her weight, because the boxes will be heavy and make sense being heavy. If we filled it with something light, it wouldn't make sense if people were watching us carry something that was clearly heavier than it looked. And in the long run, wood can sell for a pretty penny offworld, even as is. So whatever we pay to get it off the planet will be made up for by selling it to someone who can use it. Or using it ourselves in projects that can give us money in a different way." He nudged his toe towards a log that he couldn't pick up with his already full arms. "Make sure to grab that one and any other solid pieces you can find. I think John must have been chopping firewood around here."
He adjusted his armful and turned back towards the farm house. "We'll have a heavy load going back, but we can rest after, and it'll be worth it in the end. We have something to make a profit off of, and we'll have saved Cass."

"Never said it was crazy, it makes complete sense. It's more of a, how would I say it..." He picked up a few pieces of wood, "...a concern on the pieces themselves. Too much stuff added could damage some of the intricate mechanics of the limbs. I wouldn't know for sure, as I'm not the one who built them, but... She seemed a little concerned when she found out you were planning to put wood in there."
He made sure he grabbed the log Sol had pointed out, which took up a lot of space in his arms but it was a pretty good piece even he wouldn't leave that one behind. Of course it would be worth it, as long as they don't get caught. Then it sure as hell wouldn't have been.
He paused for a second before picking up a last piece that would complete his armful. "Are there any sort of blankets or something we could put over top of them? It would at least help prevent some of the wood from puncturing the fake skin." He added the piece to his arms and shifted the load around a bit till he had a proper grip on it. "Just a thought."

"Definitely," Sol nodded in agreement. "We can ask the Denvers, maybe, if they have some spare blankets. It'd probably be handy to tuck under her too. We'll be walking slower with the weight, so it'll be a longer trip for her in the boxes."
He headed off back towards the farm house, wood in his arms. They might have to do a couple of trips, and he definitely wanted to grab an axe as well. He dumped the pile of wood down in front of the boxes and glanced at Booker. "Hey, can you run around to the front and see if the Denvers can spare some blankets that we can tuck around Cass to protect her?"
He glanced around the area behind the house, and then scanned the larger farm area, finally spotting an axe off near the barn. There was a pile of wood there as well, obviously chopped firewood. He wouldn't take that wood, as it was likely John's hard work, but he was definitely going to borrow that axe. He headed off to grab it.

"Sure thing!" Booker was off to follow another order of Sol's. He was happy too. It was what he was getting paid for. Other than being the doctor of Adeala of course. He walked arounf to the front and entered the front door and found Eloise. "Hello again, Mrs. Denver."
"Would you by any chance be able to spare some blankets? We need some to protect Cass and her limbs from being damaged from the wood." Booker happily asked.

((alright, time skipping to get this moving so we aren't 2 weeks behind tomorrow.))
Once sufficient wood had been gathered and carefully placed around Cass, who had been lightly wrapped in blankets for comfort, the men had begun to carry the crates away from the farm. Booker had been assigned the biggest one for obvious reasons, and Sol and Caden had each grabbed one of the other two. They hadn't gone far before Sol was already feeling the weight of the wood and Cass' limbs combined becoming a strain on him. This was definitely going to take some time.
"So when we get back, we'll have to take this to the weighing station and claim the weight in wood," he explained in order to distract his brain from the pull in his shoulders. "It should all go smoothly as long as they don't make a surprise inspection and search the boxes. We act cool, it should go as planned. Then we can just lug the crates onto the ship, and once we've got the ship closed up, we can get her out of the boxes."

The Denver's had nicely given Booker some blankets. Then once Cass was hopefully nice and cozy, they were off, headed back to the ship. Booker offered to carry the big crate that contained Cass in it for it'd be the heaviest, and looking at those two, they'd have trouble if they both carried it.
Booker trudged along with the crate in two hands. It was heavy, and for Booker to think something was heavy, it was heavy.
Sol told them what the rest of the plan was. Booker would be fine for playing cool. As much as he liked to talk to people, he knew how to keep a secret. "It'll go smoothly, just you see Cap." Booker reassured Sol. He didn't seem like he doubted the plan but it did look like he was having trouble carrying the crate. It would go smoothly just as long as Booker didn't drop the box. That would be terrible.

Cass was doing her best to stay calm, but it was getting to be increasingly hard. The blanket was keeping her from being poked by any of the wood, which was a relief, but it was making everything hot, and there was nothing she could do about that. She could even push it off because her arms were gone, and all she could do was turn her face this way and that way to try spread the annoyance out.
She had her eyes squeezed tight, silently making herself go through the creation of a circuit board, noting down each thin line of gold as it worked it's way through the chip. And when she finished that, she moved upwards, thinking about all the ways her body came together, the sequences she'd programmed into her hands to make them react. Maybe if she kept thinking about this, she wouldn't think about the weight of the wood. Or the hot blanket on her face. Or how terrified she was now that they couldn't see her.
Cass kept her eyes tight and thought about the space ship and the engine, and how amazing it would be to get to see how it worked. That calmed her a little, so she kept focusing on it.
