Sol had purchased and arranged for a crate of supplies to be sent to the Denvers on Wednesday, meant to specifically look like a legit shipment of things that the farm actually needed. In fact, it actually was a list of things the farm needed. Sol had figured if he was going to the trouble of faking a shipment, he may as well actually send useful things to the Denvers as a thank you for their troubles.
When he got word that Cain and his men had needed to leave the planet that morning, he decided that Thursday was the day, and he quickly got to rounding up some of the men from the crew in order to head to the farm and retrieve the crate once more, in addition to a fewer smaller boxes of "things".
The "things" of course, were Cassandra and her parts. Sol still had no idea if this was going to go smoothly, but he had to hope for the best as they finally reached the Denvers' farm once more.

It had been a nerve wracking few days waiting for Solomon to return. She knew they had to wait until they were in the clear and until Cain stopped watching so closely, but the wait wasn't any easier. Even worse, the padd's batteries were dead so she couldn't even pass the time talking to Klove.
The Denvers had done a lot for Cass, more than she could have expected. They'd fed her, clothed her, let her use their basement to repair her limbs. She didn't know how to repay their kindness. Cass had a little money left, not enough to pay for board on Solomon's ship, but maybe enough to help the Denvers out, but they'd told her to keep it.
As it turned out, once Cass was done repairing her limbs and recoating her arms and legs, she was left with spare parts she wouldn't be able to take back to the ship. She was heavy enough as-is, and these parts would only make Solomon's burden harder. So she'd quietly built the Denvers a mechanical bird. It was a crude thing. If she'd know ahead of time, she could have purchased better parts, parts more suited to a bird, maybe even a real music box. But what she built was still nice enough.
She saw Solomon approaching the farm as she finished the last touches. Cassandra left the bird downstairs, with a note thanking the Denvers, knowing they would likely be too proud to accept the gift. Then she took her bag upstairs and waited for Solomon, eager to get off-planet as soon as possible.

Booker was in the moment Solomon revealed what they were doing today. If the captain needed help, he's getting it. Booker was excited to be able to help Cass as well. They were going to need to be extra careful if they were going to carry a crate with a girl in it.
Now that he thought of it, Booker wondered how heavy she'd be. Would she be average weight of a girl her size, or would the prosthetic limbs make her much heavier? What ever the case may be Booker would be willing do it.
They approached the farm. It was a beautiful farm. Booker was anxious to meet the Denvers after hearing so much about them.

Normally Caden would have loved to sleep longer, but if they were to get Cass back, early was probably better.Plus he wasn't going to lie, he was a bit pumped to have the girl back on the ship. He wanted to see what it took to make those limbs and loved the idea of an extra hand around that would actually know what they're doing. So he managed to drag himself out of bed to help them out.
The whole way there Caden was trying to guess how much she was going to weigh. He saw some of the parts and could probably make a few different estimates but they were based on which pieces where gonna be in which boxes.
He also took the walk to take a quick smoke. They wanted him to quit, he knew that. But just stopping out of no where was not an option. Not unless they wanted him super cranky and possibly moody enough to pull a gun. So cutting back slowly was the only way to go.

She waited by the window, anxious to be on their way. It wasn't going to be fun being limbless in a crate (to be honest, it would be horribly similar to nightmares she'd had) but if this was how she was going to escape, then she would get over her fears and do it.
The patrols had died down today, barely anyone passing by the window, but Cass still kept to the side, not wanting to be seen just in case anyone did come along. Soon, she'd be back on the ship. Soon she'd be safe, or as safe as she could be And soon, she'd be able to talk to Klove again and tell him what happened.
Cass took a risk and waved at the group. She was going to have to apologize to Booker for pushing him. Hopefully he wasn't too mad. Even with all her strength, she still found his size intimidating.

As they headed onto the property, Sol noticed Cassandra waving from the window. "Ah, looks like she's ready to go," he commented, glancing around to make sure there wasn't anyone spying on them. He knew most of the military units had left the planet by now, but he was still on guard for anything out of the ordinary.
He headed up the walk and knocked on the door, assuming either the Denvers or Cass herself would answer it. While he waited, he glanced at the other two nervously. He was glad they were both on board with this.

Booker followed Solomon with Caden. Caden was smoking. Booker tried to be a little more subtle about the disapproval of his smoking than when they first met. Instead of yelling and screaming in his face, he just gave him a glare every time he breathed out. That murderous smoke escaping from his mouth and nostrils could easily kill somebody. He noticed Cass wave from a window and Booker waved back with a big smile. She was ready to go. "That's great!" Hopefully this whole thing would go smoothly so they could have Cass safe and sound on the ship.

Only a few moments had elapsed before the wooden door was pulled wide open, Eloise emerging with an anxious expression.
“Oh good, it’s lovely to see you again Solomon. And … your friends?”
The elderly woman’s eyes were drawn immediately to Booker, who had to have been the largest man she’d ever seen. What on Antheia did that boy eat? Smiling warmly she then glanced curiously in Caden’s direction, nodding her welcome before ushering them briskly inside.
"Cassandra has been growing more and more restless since your last departure. So I have a feeling she'll be happy to be on her way, not that I blame her in the least. Poor soul."

Sol smiled at Eloise's greeting. "Hi again. This is Booker, he's our medic." That fact always tended to surprise people. Sol himself was still a little boggled by it. He was sure it was clear why he'd brought Booker along, though. This was a heavy lifting job. "And you've already met Caden from the other day."
He stepped in at her request. "We'll definitely be happy to get going as well, now that the soldiers have mostly all left. Though I still have no idea where we're going after this." He glanced around for Cassandra. "I trust the crates arrived alright?" That was the last thing they needed... the crates having never arrived and here they were all ready to go...

Cass moved away from the window and quickly headed into the next room, in time to hear Solomon ask about the crates. "They're in the back yard." She told him. Cass had already checked them out to make sure she really would fit inside. Her limbs would be fine on their own, but she was going to be in for a bit of a bumpy ride. She would just have to hope they wouldn't bang her around too much.
She wasn't sure what else to say, or if she should greet Caden and Booker. All she wanted to do now was get in the crates and get going, and get off-planet as soon as possible. She was slightly terrified that the soldiers would return, or maybe would be waiting for Solomon off-planet. But it was better than staying here and waiting for them to hurt the Denvers after they'd taken care of her.
Cass decided to get her goodbyes over and done with before she teared up. She'd had enough of crying for a while. She hugged Eloise tightly (but not too tightly, she was an old woman and Cass could crush her if she was careless) and then John. "Thank you so much for all your kindness." She hoped the found the bird soon, and she really hoped they liked it.

"Backyard. Alright." Sol nodded. He turned to the Denvers, sticking out his hand to shake John's. "Thank you again. I'm not sure what would have happened if you guys hadn't been around to help out. Stay safe."
Then he waved them out the door. "Alright, let's get moving. The others are gonna start getting anxious." He headed out to the back of the house, finding the crates he'd sent there days earlier. All of them had made it okay, it seemed. He peered inside, they'd been emptied save for some hay in the bottom to cushion the bottoms. Sol began to wonder what else they could put in them to lightly cover up Cass' various parts just in case someone wanted to peek into the crates.

Cass headed outside, taking a look at them again. She'd already decided which container each limb went into, and where she went in the end. But she was feeling incredibly nervous. She hadn't taken all her limbs off since her father was around to help her put them back on again. Without him, she would have to trust Solomon. Even though she did trust him, she still felt terrified.
"My legs go here and here." She pointed out the proper containers, "Arms here and here. And I go in the middle one. It doesn't matter what gets set on my arms and legs but um... if you cover my face, pick something light that I can breathe through."
Awkwardly, she took off her pants. She'd prepared for this, and was wearing a pair of shorts borrowed from the Denvers (well... given, actually. Cass didn't know if she'd ever return them), but it still felt just plain weird to be doing this around so many men she barely knew. Trust, she reminded herself, you have to trust them.
Cass down down, found the locking points on her legs and promptly undid them, giving them both a quarter turn to slide them out of the socket. She scooted back and left them lying there, bare and still.
She crossed her arms over her chest. This was the tricky bit. It was possible to unlock both arms at the same time, and she'd done it once before successfully. It was also the point of no-return. When the arms came off, it would be nearly impossible for her to get them back on. It could be done, but it wasn't exactly easy. Cass took a deep breath and unlocked them. The twists had to be made carefully, and she did. And then, just like that, they both slide out of the sockets and hit the ground.
Now it was up to them.

Caden was slightly uncomfortable smoking around Booker but did his best to ignore the guy for a while. Though he quickly put the cigarette out when they got to the Denver's. Keeping quiet he just looked around a bit more. He hopped three would be enough to carry Cass back.
Once in the back yard and the crates were visible he wasn't quite sure how this would work. But if they got it right now one should be able to figure out they were carrying around a limbless girl. His thoughts were completely interrupted once Cass started taking her pants off. 'No one said anything about undressing...' he shifted a bit. At least she was still wearing something.
But once the limbs came off he was once again watching in complete interest at the connection spots at the top of each limb. Clearly it was working with her brain signals for the movements, but how?
"I guess, you can't put yourself back together again by yourself?" He asked and wandered closer. He checked the boxes first before crouching down beside Cassandra. "Also, out of curiosity... if not attached, can you still feel from these?" He reached for one of the arms and carefully picked it up to look at it.

"I can but... it takes a lot of work. I have to make sure I have one arm set up at the right angle to lock back in." She wasn't sure if she should mention to Caden that she usually slept like this, at least, at home she had. It worked better when you had someone ready to disconnect the last arm for you.
She watched Caden handle her arm. "No, they're just... dead limbs like this. When they're connected, the sensors hook up and that how I feel things." It wasn't exactly like real touch. But it was remarkably close, and even better in some ways. If she got hurt, too hurt for her body to handle the pain, the sensors would trip and stop transmitting. She could usually still use the arm, but she didn't get the pain every other human would get.

Booker smiled when the woman answered the door. He held out his hand and greeted her, "Hi! I'm Dr. Tyrone Lewis, but you can call me Booker!" Another person to meet always made him happy.
Then he watched awkwardly as Cass started to take her pants off. But then he was relieved when it was revealed that she wore shorts underneath. That would have been extremely uncomfortable for him, but especially Cass. Then he watched in awe as she removed her limbs. This was extremely weird and amazing all at the same time. The fact that human technology had come so far was astounding to Booker. He'd heard of prosthetic limbs before but not ones that looked and moved like regular limbs and felt!
