- It should be noted that unless special creatures are specified, the general animal population of a planet is similar to those found in the similar habitats on the original Earth, due to their transplantation along with the sentient beings.
- Also, the moons of this galaxy are very similar to that of the orignal Earth. Rocky, atmosphere-less, and generally useless save for small automated mining operations. Humans do not consider them habitable at this time.
- Human government and law enforcement has only jurisdiction on Terra and the space ports on each planet that work as embassies. In other words? There is no law in space.
- Humans may have conquered space flight, but that doesn't mean they're ready to prance around in shiny silver future suits with laser guns, and hairdos that can't fit through doors. Humans really don't look much different than the original Earth. Except maybe a few more mixed culture influences in their outfits. And their guns? Still bullets, except those belonging to the richest of rich, who can actually afford the latest laser technology.
The Solar System order and rough estimations of days it takes to travel between planets: _________________________________ Terra[/u][/size] Visual References - futureforgotten.deviantart.com/favourites/?11614288Terra is the Human home world. It's the second planet from the system's star, and not unlike the original Human world Earth, however with far more land than ocean. This should have sustained them for much longer, but as Humans are known for, they spread and multiplied and filled the land. As they entered into a technological age, so did the face of the planet, almost every inch of the mainland now covered in huge, towering city. Smaller islands have been reserved for farming and cultivating food, but much of the Human sustenance has now come from labs as natural farms are not big enough to sustain the population. The oceans have been mostly ruined, poisoned, the remaining animal populations (sea and land) left to zoos and exhibits and conservation efforts, and alternative breeding programs in labs in order to sustain a fish population for human consumption. Once many smaller cities, as they all became engulfed by one another, they became known as one city, also called Terra, after the planet. The old city names are now considered districts of Terra city. The city is huge, reaching hundreds of stories into the sky. Ruling such a huge planet-wide city cannot be left to one person, and so the government on Terra is a 12 member board of diverse Humans from across the planet called The Council. The major decisions for the city and planet are made by these councilmen and women, and these said decisions may only come to pass with a majority vote. Smaller decisions pertaining to specific parts of the planet are left to an elected set of 5 officials for each district. These officials will then bring the concerns and suggestions of their district to The Council for final word. The law enforcement is based on military standards, and laws are generally just and moral on Terra. Most currency is exchanged digitally on Terra, but for those in space and on other planets, physical money is preferred for trading with other races. Human currency is in dollars, however all physical money is in the form of coins similar to gambling credits, which one would have to eventually trade in at a bank establishment to convert to digital dollar credits. Coins are in the following denominations: $1 (red), $20 (green), $100 (yellow), $500 (blue), $1000 (purple). One dollar coins are rarely used by most, as they are barely worth anything. The Network is the human mode of communication and information sharing. It is an all in one system for public broadcasts, private calls (audio and/or video), libraries of entertainment (movies, music, books, etc), and a huge encyclopedia of all gathered Human knowledge and history. All ships have an on-board computer that links to The Network, and many people have hand-held devices that also allow them to access the same information in a smaller form. Both ship computers and hand-held Network devices are touch screen and highly advanced. At the top of the city are the spaceports and hangars, government offices, and the most rich and well-off of the Humans. Rules and laws are strict here, in order to keep order and cleanliness at "The Above". The city sparkles at The Top, and on first glance, the city of Terra is a beautiful sight. As you make your way lower, the classes lessen, and a family considered regular middle-class is generally found to live in the apartment complexes near "The Inbetween" of the skyscrapers and towers, still able to see hints of the sky, and still pay for fares in the lower spaceports. At the very bottom, the streets are left to the lowest of Humans, where slums and crime run rampant. They call it "The Below", where the shady dealings of the planet are generally said to take place. Gangs are common, and there are many kinds that cover all sorts of territories all over the planet (some names in use so far are: The Goomars and The Molls). Most who live and grow up at the Below will never see the sky, or anything but artificial light. Terra has one moon.

Heimdall - Human presence: 25 years Visual References - futureforgotten.deviantart.com/favourites/?11614290The first planet after the star, Heimdall is a warm, dry land, often plagued in parts by volcanic activity. There are many mountains here, home to Dwarves who regularly mine here for stone and precious metals and gems. In one of the largest mountains and deep underground lies the Halls of Ida, a grand stone city of Dwarves. It is here that they live and govern their people, led by King Turu. There are a few lakes in the mountain area, but not enough precipitation to grow much more than hearty brush and a few strong trees. Also amidst the mountains are the populations of dragons of varying sizes and colours, which sometimes like to feed on a wandering Dwarf or two when other animals will not suffice. Nestled in the largest valley, not far from the Halls of Ida, on the edge of the Great Desert, is the Human's spaceport. Most humans stay here, protected from the harsh dry climate, save for a few who use the edges of the desert for livestock farming. The Great Desert spans almost half of the planet, and is largely uninhabited due to the extreme dry and hot temperatures and intense sandstorms. On the outskirts of the desert, a little deeper in than the human farms, are the Goblin camps. Largely wanderers and scavengers, their setups regularly move and are little more than tents and huts. The goblins enjoy the arrival of the humans and their farms of cows and horses, as they are far easier pickings than attempting to hunt in the mountains. The Goblins are generally ruled in their separate camps by a clan leader, usually thought to be the strongest out of the lot. Slightly deeper into the desert are another breed of dragon, though wingless, so the Humans at first thought they were dinosaurs. These dragons used to live off of Goblins, however they have recently also turned their attentions to these new human farms. No one dares to enter the general center of the desert, as few rarely return. Heimdall has one moon.

Antheia - Human presence: 24 years Visual References - futureforgotten.deviantart.com/favourites/?11614291Third planet in the solar system is Antheia, a peace loving planet covered in green. Many forests, jungles, and rolling hills and meadows cover it's land, as well as many sparkling lakes. There are a few small mountain ranges, though these are nothing compared to the grand mountains on Heimdall. Elves live on Atheia, and out of the three races on the planet, they are the least interested in space flight, and the most involved in the green lands of their planet. The Elves live chiefly in the forests in smaller communities where they hunt, however the most notable Elven refuge, Dôr Gelaidh, is deep in the forests where Humans are not allowed. Here the Elven King Adan and his Queen Sídhaewen are said to be of the eldest of the Elves. The Centaurs inhabit the forests and meadows, hunting and researching the stars, and it was to them that the Humans turned to in permission to use some of the meadows as farmland, to cultivate natural fruits and vegetables so rare on Terra. The Centaurs agreed in return for the Humans' knowledge on space, and the two races work quite well together in harmony on Antheia, where many Centaur can now be found working in the Antheia Spaceport, a small port built with as little damage to the natural habitat as possible (for the benefit of all the nature loving races on the planet, especially the Elves). The final race on this planet, the Fauns, have a good relationship with all of the races on the planet, especially the Humans who are happy to have these eager (yet sometimes mischievous) workers investigating their spaces. They also put on one heck of a party! The fauns are found in most of the environments on the planet, living in huts in various places, though they especially love the more hilly and mountainous regions, as they love to climb and explore. Rumor has it there have been sightings of Unicorns on Antheia, though they are rare and few between. Antheia has 2 moons.

Corus - Human presence: 20 years Visual References - futureforgotten.deviantart.com/favourites/?11614293Fourth planet, and covered mostly by water, Corus' surface is primarily an ocean ecosystem, run and protected by the Merpeople. There are many communities under the water, but located approximately on the planet's equator is the grant underwater castle of Divona, Queen of the Merpeople. In addition to the fish and other ocean creatures found on the original Earth, one may also find an abundance of hippocampus, a favourite companion of the Merpeople. There are also a number of sea serpents, and one elusive, yet frightening Kraken. What land there is on Corus is actually made up of large spires of rock, and this is where the Winged people make their homes. Rope bridges and carved homes in the rock faces turn these natural grand pillars of stone into complicated tree house-like villages wherever there are larger groups of these spires erupting from the oceans. The largest of the spires houses Lord Micha, who rules over the Winged justly. The two peoples of the planet live together in harmony, despite their opposite living conditions. Sometimes a Winged person will scoop a Merperson out of the ocean and carry them to visit their cities for trade, as a Merperson can shift to legs on land, but very few Winged People have waterproof wings in order to swim (these of course would be the ones who sport wings similar to water birds). In addition to the Winged People and hundreds of species of birds, the skies can also be seen dotted with Pegasi and Griffins, who tend to roost in spires not inhabited by people, but some are loyal pets and friends of the Winged. The Human arrival has left an interesting spaceport: a floating one. This space port in the sky is not connected to any land or water, and is some of the more advanced Human technology so far. The humans who live here focus solely on fishing and the export of fish and birds to Terra. The export of a Pegasus or Griffin is highly illegal as the Winged hold them extremely dear to their hearts. To fish, humans go down to the ocean's surface in shuttles than can convert to boats. While relations are friendly with the humans, Lord Micha and Queen Divona keep a close eye on the fishing levels of the humans, who are expected to take only certain levels of creatures in order to not disrupt the planet's beautiful, yet delicate ecosystems. Rumors have spread that the Lord and Lady of Corus are more than simply friends, but neither will divulge any information on this subject... Corus has 3 moons.

Glacies - Human presence: 16 years Visual References - futureforgotten.deviantart.com/favourites/?11614294Fifth from the sun, Glacies is a cold, icy, mountainous planet. It's harsh conditions mean only the hearty survive. Few people visit it besides strong willed hunters. There are many lakes that have primarily frozen surfaces, but carry all sorts of arctic type animals underneath. Besides polar bears, though, the main draw for a Human hunter are the herds of Woolly Mammoth that roam the icey plains, as well as their hunting competition: the White Saber-toothed Tiger. Hunters are also drawn by rumors of a mythical Yeti, though it has never been proven that it exists. The Glacies dwarves do not have a particular style of government, as they are mostly a solitary race, living like hermits dotted amongst the caves hunting and doing small amounts of mining. Perhaps these small, blond, hairy dwarves are what caused the Yeti rumors, but some are convinced the Yeti is still out there. Because of the lack of native government on Glacies, the law put forth is generally Human, from the well insulated space port that resides on the planet. Hunting laws are not particularly strict, as hunting is the one and only draw to the harsh planet, however hunting of any large Mammal by a human is generally banned in the months that the animals breed in, so as to avoid complete wipe outs of the species. Glacies has one moon.

Nox - Human presence: 15 years. Visual References - futureforgotten.deviantart.com/favourites/?11614295At the edge of the solar system lies Nox, a dark and mysterious planet most sensible folk do well to avoid. So far away from the system's star, Nox is in an almost constant state of twilight, a perfect condition for it's inhabitants to thrive... and yet suffer. Volcanoes dot the far areas of the landscape, the only major source of heat to the planet, causing the place to be quite barren in places where eruptions can take out all living things. This causes most of the planet to be covered in black, igneous rock, and ash often fills the sky in the volcanic areas. In the areas safe from the magma, small, brush-like forests and caves can be found as refuge for the various small mammals that live on the planet. The biggest forested area--which covers about a third of the planet--has largely become territory of the were-creatures in their varying kinds, where they hunt and live in simple huts and cabins. The situation between the Were-creatures and Humans is complicated, as there is still an underlying mistrust of Humans based off of the terrible first encounter the Humans had with the planet (in which many Were-creatures were mistakenly killed), but Were-creatures also see Humans as their way off the planet, so they are the closest allies anyone has on the tough planet. On the northern edge of the large forested area live various covens of Vampires, in a line of grand mansions built long ago when they first arrived on their planet, back when the planet was more plentiful. Now the mansions stand as if mocking their former glamour and wealth, the last symbols left of their power. Since the last original Humans left on the planet were picked off hundreds of years ago (ruins of their old towns may be found scattered across the planet), the Vampires were forced to turn to living off of the animals, which are the same prey of the Were-creatures, and as animal life becomes ever scarce, tensions between the two races have been growing more and more violent. All out war between the two was perhaps stopped by the arrival of the Human space explorers. The were-creatures saw this space travel as a way off their desolate planet. And the Vampires, of course, saw food. Sensing no immediate ill-will from the were-creatures (save for the few who could not control themselves on full moons), and due to the immediate loss of a few of their crew to the Humans, the Humans knew exactly which part of the planet was the safest for a space-port, which was erected in the middle of the forest, highly fortified against Vampire attack, and allowing only the more trustworthy of the were-creatures to enter and gain passage to space. Their first tastes of Human blood in years ignited their old Human blood lust, and now the Vampires are willing to do whatever it takes to gain more... as well as the blood of the other tasty sounding creatures in space. Humans are absolutely not allowed to hunt on Nox for the following reasons: 1) They may accidentally kill a Were. 2) Their own immediate safety. Weres may feel threatened and Vampires may be near. 3) The safety of humans in general. Humans further depleting the food supply for the Weres and Vampires would in turn make the Vampires even more desperate for other forms of blood, putting Humans at further risk of attack. Nox has 4 moons. It should be noted that this means full-moon activity is far more important on this planet.

The Underworld - space station age: 15 years
Depending on who you speak to, the Underworld is either a sleek silver city gliding through the stars, or a misshapen hunk of metal floating aimlessly around the system. Larger than most spaceports, the Underworld is a gigantic space station, a self-contained city that orbits no particular planet. Powered by dozens of jets, the city drifts through space, staying away from planets to keep from being sucked into their orbit.
The city has no found, no mayor and no central authority. An organic city, it continues to grow with every new ship that welds itself in place and becomes a permanent fixture. As such, the city has grown oddly over time. The inner section of the city contains giant rooms carved out of old ships, abandoned by their original owners and completely consumed by the swelling city. The walls are a mishmash of different metal and no standard architectural style since each ship brought it's own unique build. Stairs and walkways lead everywhere, with a few rickety elevators haphazardly installed in the center of the city. It has grown in strange directions as time has passed, and vaguely resembles a star with it's five massive points. Docks are all along the outside of the points, built from old ships. Many who come to the city design their ships with the intention of staying and living out of them, or opening a shop.
Due to the lack of government, the city has become a haven for all things criminal and illegal. The Underworld contains many businesses, ranging from weapon dealers to surgical enhancements, from stolen goods to illegal zoos. The most popular type of businesses are bars and there are hundreds of them, ranging from upper-class bars in the lounges of pleasure ships to dives tucked away in the back of old cargo bays. In the center of the city, the whorehouse lies, expanding larger every year as more women find their way to the city and the demand grows. The liquor and women make the Underworld an extremely popular stop to many captains and crews.
Along with illegal merchandise, the Underworld also produces a lot of legal products. Produce is grown by hydroponics in giant rooms carved from freighters and animals are raised in the remains of old saucer ships. When traveling between worlds, the Underworld can be an easy place to stop, rest and stock up. Many ships use it as shore leave, as there are no crimes on the Underworld and wild and reckless behaviour is expected and even encouraged. Terra currency is preferred, but all money is accepted as long as it's real. However, many places only accept physical cash, and none of them run tabs for anyone.
Along with no organized authority comes no organized defense. Yet the Underworld is more heavily armed than most Terran battle cruisers. Every business on the outer walls of the city has their own defense system, and combined, they can (and have) obliterated M-class ships. Due to this, the Terran government leaves the Underworld to their own devices. Many are unhappy to have the ship floating around, blatantly breaking laws, but to take them on directly would be suicide.
