Ben had been searching around La Notte. Looking in every room, in the garden outside until he ran into some of the other vampires. "Wheres Eli?" He asked. He hadn't seen Eli around for a while and he was getting suspicious. Not that he missed Eli, but he was generally always around to annoy the crap out of Ben.
Suddenly the scent of fresh blood filled Ben's nostrils. It was coming from deep in the forest. He bolted through the trees to where the scent was coming from. Ben stopped running when he heard a ship take off. Then he could see it fly over the trees. He could see a figure in a window of the ship that looked a bit like Eli... giving the finger?
That fikker! Ben thought. Eli stowed away with those humans and is going to have a whole crew buffet! The scent of blood was now replaced by the scent of burning flesh. He rushed over to it. There was a body on fire. "SHIT!" Ben exclaimed.
He sprinted back to La Notte to share the new of what had just gone down. Once he returned home, he called, "Genevieve! I have something to tell you!"
