"Smelling delicious is the most important," Eli stated, mind slowly wandering back to the screen as he noticed the leathery skinned, pointy eared creatures the narrator was calling Goblins. "Wow, that's an ugly bastard. Wonder what he smells like..."
He bit back a yawn, surprising himself. He realized he was finally feeling tired for the first time since stepping on the ship nearly two days ago. At least I think it was two days, he thought to himself, trying to track the number of hours in his head, but finally giving up. With the lack of sun telling him when to sleep, and the excitement of being away from Nox and surrounded by so many people who would kill him if they had their way, he'd simply not felt any need to rest. Now, however, he was feeling calm and relatively safe with Klove stoned out of his mind, and fatigue was starting to sink in.
He rested his head against the wall, shutting his eyes for a bit to rest them as the woman's voice continued talking about the dusty, dry planet called Heimdall.

Klove barely noticed with Eli was saying. That quiet silence kept pulling him back in. When Eli wondered what Goblins smelt like, Klove mumbled under his breath, not quite answering the question. He said something about sweat, then trailed off and added 'green', which wasn't right because while they were green, they didn't exactly smell green.
The voice on the viewscreen was nothing but a drone, and Klove didn't bother trying to keep his eyes open. Eli's hand was going still, but Klove didn't really care. The weight of the hand on Klove's head was enough. Klove fell back into sleep, and this time, he went in deep. Dreams came up soon after, the usual bought of nightmares he'd suffered since he was a child. The catnip softened them, and he felt less concerned by the shooting and death.
His shoulder continued to heal, catching up on lost time. In another four hours, it would be almost healed, and there would be a fresh new scar on his shoulder to match the rest decorating his torso. In another four hours, Klove would also wake up and discover he'd fallen asleep with Eli. And that wasn't going to be pleasant.
