important information =
- The Galen is a space station, and as such, does not go planetside except in extreme emergencies. Instead, shuttles are used to bring equipment and people back and forth.
- The grey things are hallways, not walls, except for the really thin grey things. Those are walls. JUST TO BE CLEAR.
Bridge =
- The bridge has controls on either side of the airlocks, a large viewscreen and multiple stations. The station is automated and can operate without a pilot, but Era prefers to employ a pilot whenever he can.
- Two airlocks contain shuttles. Of the airlocks left, one can hold a small ship, while the other three are 'soft' airlocks, built to allow ships without a dedicated airlock to dock. The soft airlocks have magnets to hold the ships in place, and a flexible 'curtain' that molds around the ship's gangway to form a seal. Once secured, the ship can open it's gangway and allow it's crew to leave without losing all it's air to the vacuum of space.
Crew Deck =
- Each crew room contains a bed, bathroom and small working space.
- There is a hard-copy room where all information on the Galen (including a general overview of medical procedures, and medication) is backed-up and stored on microdots in case of catastrophic computer failure.
- Fitness room is also used by long-term patients, but only with supervision
Shuttle =
- Each shuttle seats two, with room for three human-sized patients in the back.
