There was more garbage than he thought. Terence had shoved 2 big bags full of all the trash he had sitting around his ship and was taking them to one of the large dumpsters at the port. He had a toothpick sticking out of his mouth as he had the 2 large bags over his shoulders and made his way down the ramp of his ship.
The dumpsters weren't hard to miss, they had to be big to constantly take all the trash that came off the ships that stopped there. He swung them almost effortlessly up and into the huge steel bins. He was glad he finally forced himself to clean, it was great to be able to actually walk through the cockpit with out stepping on things. And it smelled better to have a clean ship, he used some sort of air freshener that he found on Antheia he surprisingly didn't despise. A nice new fresh start, in case someone decided to tag along they weren't bombarded with the smell of garbage.
Making sure he had his guns on him, he closed up the ship, flicked the toothpick into the garbage bin and headed off to look around a bit before leaving. After all he needed to stretch his legs a bit and wander before being stuck in the ship for who knows how long. He just wasn't sure how long he wanted to stick around in the stale air of Terra. The whole planet smelt like fuel.

The city was packed, Maybe it was because of all the humans and other creature's itching to get away. The hussle and bussle seemed to be faster now then ever, Even the smell of all the people put together was worse then ever. Celyn had been just wandering aimlessly, Searching for a job somewhere. Somewhere her medical expertise would be usualful to someone.. But so far no luck. Everyone's ships were just about packed, All the hospital's and medical facilities didn't feel like taking anyone new on. So, here she was. Broke, Jobless and most of all alone.
It was strange, To be so lonely amongst thousands of people. To wander around, being shoved this way and pushed that way. Never once feeling like you were actually seen, A soft sigh passed through her pink lip's. Hazel optics just gazing around, Admiring all the different ships that rested around, the stench of fuel now stronger then the reek of sweaty men. Jean's scraped aginst the cement, Boot's as well. Hands thrown into her pocket's, she really wasn't paying that much attention to the things infront of her.
Well that was till she felt herself collide with something. It was hard, and smelt different then the rancid air of fuel and sweat. She had bumped her head against it, And instictivly her hand flew up to her bump. "Ouch.." the words flowed off her lips quietly. She hadn't yet thought of looking to see what it was she had bumped, Till she noted it was moving. Quickly, her hand fell back to her side, as her Hazel eye's moved to stare up at the thing she had hit.. She nearly gasper "I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying any attention to where I was going.." the words flowed from her lips quicker then she thought heavenly possible. It wasn't till after she had finished speaking that she took a good look at him, He was tall. Way taller then she was.. Standing at only 5'3" who wasn't?
Silently, she stood there.. Deep inside hoping he wasn't like the rest of the people around her and just shove her out of his way.

Terence had grunted and made a small snarl as he was caught a bit off guard by having someone walk into him. His first initial reaction would have been a snarky comment about being blind or something but stopped himself as the person wasn't your typical port brat. He paused as she instantly apologized.
He put his hands out to try and calm her a bit, "Hey no, it's cool, don't worry about it." He tried to make her feel better even though it did in fact irritate him when people didn't pay attention to their surroundings. She seemed lost. Maybe he could help? In his opinion she was cute, for a human.
"You uh... look kinda lost... Are you looking for someone specific?" He asked a bit awkwardly.

"Hey no, it's cool, don't worry about it."
She smiled softly hearing his words.. "Thank goodness" She thought to herself. All she needed was someone mad at her already. As there was a brief pause between them, She took this time to inspect the man she had run into. He was rather charming to the eye, He had a quirky aura about him. Someone who looked like he could have fun, yet knew how to to business. Not to mention the muscles she could see on his arm's.. There was a faint line of red that brushed her tanned cheeks.
"You uh... look kinda lost... Are you looking for someone specific?"
She chuckled lightly mainly she was laughing at herself "Well.. I wouldn't say I'm lost.." her voice was soft, Happy and light she sighed softly before continuing "Well I am just a little.. Here I am a Medic and they sent me here looking for a job.." she chuckled. Wow, how wonderful did that sound. The other medic's around town told her to check with the Ship's. Some really could need medics around.. Though she had no idea he was a captain. Or if he even would be able to help her.
"Sorry again.. Oh! I almost forgot.. My name's Celyn.." she gave that warm friendly smile again, Running a hand through her soft curly hair as she did so. Man oh man.. He was cute.

"A medic?" The word caught his attention. That would be helpful, seeing as he was quite often accident prone and mostly did his best patching himself up when needed. Which most medics and doctors would most likely cringe at. He had to stop himself from picturing different scenarios in his head and keep focus.
"Oh, uhh, Terence." He added and put his hand out without thinking. He was just used to it. Why is this so awkward? Was it because I wasn't the one to start the conversation? Nah, just a bit caught off guard. Yeah... yeah that's it. He couldn't help make a small smile at the girl.
"If you don't mind me asking, how much do you know about some of the other planets and their people?" He was curious and needed to make sure there would be no complications if and when she found out he wasn't exactly human. Many humans didn't trust the were-people which is why he hid it. If a buyer found out they would probably cut off any trades and shipments. "Cause, I actually have an open position if you're interested..." It was worth a try right? Of course...

"A medic?"
She chuclked slightly at him, "Yes a Medic, I have a Degree in Nursing." her words were kind, and friendly. Maybe he had someone in mind that could help her with a job! Ohh that would be wonderful! Butterflies fluttered deep in her belly, Swarming around and filling her belly full.
"Oh, uhh, Terence."
Terence... She mouthed the name to herself, She liked it. It seemed befitting of him. Again her eye's locked onto his, He was cute, So cute her thoughts always seemed to be hurried and jumbled all together. She gently took his hand, Gave it her best shake she could.. I mean come on look at her. She wasn't just twig and bone, but no Hewoman for sure. So her shake wouldn't be so manly like he was perhaps ucustomed to.
"If you don't mind me asking, how much do you know about some of the other planets and their people?"
His lyrics were soft, and beyond curious. Though she felt giddy, Maybe he did know of a place she could work! Quickly she ran over all she knew in her head.. "Well, I've never met any in person, But I know of Nox and the Vampires and Were People. I know of the Elves Fauns and others on Antheia. And the winged People of Corus.. I know alot.. My father used to tell me stories of them.. I always dreamed of meeting every race.. Well minus the Vampire's." she chuckled softly to herself. She knew alot about many of the different race's.. For a human she was actually quite smart in the different areas.
Cause, I actually have an open position if you're interested..."
She nearly jumped out of her shoes when he spoke those words. A Job! Opening! Position! Hell yes! A glorious smile spread across her tanned cheeks, Pearly white teeth shone in the warm sunlight. "Of Course I'm interested Terence!" she spoke with true sincerity. Hey, what would it hurt to be working with him.. I mean come on.. It was a job, and a major plus he was rather Cute! "What is it that I'll be doing?" she asked softly. He was a captain.. now where was his ship? Were there other crew members? Oh well.. Time would tell her all she needed to know.

"Oh, trust me you do not want to meet the vampires." He pushed back some of the memories from Nox and his various Vampire encounters. Now most of the time when he runs into a vampire he generally tries to kill it before it can do anything in return. He couldn't stand them, they were cold and full of trickery.
"I am sort of in a stage of crew restarting at the moment. As much as it's nice to have alone time, it's just as nice to have a few people around to help. You know, so you don't go crazy on your own, because sometimes going crazy is funner with people around." He smirked, "So in a sense you can take which ever spot you'd like, besides captain... That'd be me."
He turned slightly and pointed to a ship at the dock, "That, right there, is my Kildeer." It wasnt anything super fancy, but it worked and had a good amount of space. That's what mattered.

"Oh, trust me you do not want to meet the vampires."
Well he was right, She really never wanted to meet a vampire. From the stories she was told they were cold.. Malicious.. and above all loved to torture their prey. How horrible she felt for the Were - Creatures of Nox, Placed in a world with those horrid creatures.. From what she knew the were - creatures were mainly kind folk, Only fighting when needed, or angered. Her dream was to in fact meet every single type of species that was out there. Fly to each planet, See the sight's.. Meet the people. Do it all! Well, all but the Vampires of course. She could probably go through life happy without meeting those creatures. Just the thought of meeting one of those made shivers run down her spine.
"I am sort of in a stage of crew restarting at the moment. As much as it's nice to have alone time, it's just as nice to have a few people around to help. You know, so you don't go crazy on your own, because sometimes going crazy is funner with people around."
Sort Of? .. She couldn't help but to laugh at his words. Funny too! She could picture it now, Flying through space with his humor would keep things alive and flowing. "Well, try not to get to crazy on me, Okay?" she giggled as she spoke. She was tired of being alone.. It had been, What years sense she last actually carried a conversation with someone, Well outside of school of course.
"So in a sense you can take which ever spot you'd like, besides captain... That'd be me."
Boy, He sure knew how to keep the air light. A soft laugh burst from her lips " Well it's nice to meet ya captain!" she gave a salute, Hey she could try and be funny to! "I'll just stick to medic.. and whatever else you need me to do, sound okay?" she asked softly. Well, she could cook.. clean.. and just keep up the ship the best she could. Aside from doctoring any wounds or illnesses caught along the way.
"That, right there, is my Kildeer."
She followed his finger to the ship, Her eye's stared in awe at it. Well, she'd never been on a real ship.. aside from the one's her father used to show her at the Ship yard, and well It looked pretty darn nice. "Kildeer" she liked the ring of it. That pretty little smile never left her face, Even as she gazed back at Terence she still grinned.. "Can we go see it?" she asked softly.

"Well, try not to get to crazy on me, Okay?"
She seemed to have a little bit of spunk to her. He liked that. "I'll try my best," he smiled and as she saluted him he couldn't help but let a small snicker escape his lips. He could tell she'd be a fun one to travel with. Better than any of the stiff mercenary men most would pick up at ports like this. It was nice to have a quirky girl on board instead of someone who'd just try and deck him in the face for not being able to hold back a stupid comment. He was all too used to that. She was also much, much easier on the eyes than a big sweaty man trotting through his ship.
"Sure we can go right now if you'd like," he motioned her to follow him as he started to walk towards it. He shouldn't have too much trouble showing her the ship. It's layout is pretty basic, not too difficult to get lost in. Unless you wander into the cargo bays, which when stocked can be a bit confusing if you wander too far in.

So far, she really liked Terence. He was just the type of fellow she would love to meet. The kind that was usually in a pretty good mood, Well unless hungry of course. Though she had no idea of his Were-lion side, she didn't care. He was funny, sweet, and heck pretty darn good looking. But there was more to it then just that.. There was the feeling in her chest when he smiled, That no matter what happened it'd be alright if he just smiled. She felt drawn to that smile, and wanted it never to leave. She was lost deep inside herself.. Well till he spoke that is..
"Sure we can go right now if you'd like,"
Snapping back into reality, she wanted to slap herself in the face.. Why should she even dare thinking of these things. Ai yi yi. As he moved towards the ship, she quickly followed. It was a rather nice looking ship, well compared to some of the other's that were scattered about at the port. The stench of fuel was thinning, There was a nice breeze blowing all the rank the other way. It was nice, To feel the wind tickle her cheeks and blow her curly hair about. Though, a bit chillier then expected.. She hoped he wouldn't mind her tagging along with him. Which, by the looks of it he seemed to like her company so far.. Which gave her a smile "So, This is the Kildeer!" she said spreading her hands out in a dramatization with a soft laugh. "wow" she whispered mainly to herself.

He watched her face as it looked like she had drifted of for a second. It was kind of cute. Fantasy world visit in her head maybe? It happened to him a lot, he could relate. Only probably not quite the same things.
"Yup, the ship was left to me from a passed friend. The last thing he asked was to make sure I kept it going. And here she is, still afloat." He smiled and fiddled with a small control and the ramp opened. "Welcome to my humble abode," he smiled as he walked up the ramp. He then went on as she followed to show specific rooms of the ship. Quickly ripping down a few pictures off the walls as he walked through the halls. Most people would be kind of confused seeing random pictures of lionesses on a ship. But he couldn't help it, it was his Lion side that was attracted too them. Most people wouldn't understand how the mind of a person and an animal have to co-exist in one body.
He didn't really show her the inside of his own room, mostly due to the fact that it was the only room he hadn't really finished cleaning out. And he wasn't quite sure if he should let her know about the were lion part yet or not. There were also a few things in there that would have been very obviously something only a were person would be interested in.
Considering she was a nurse she'd probably be most interested in the medical bay so he spent a little extra time explaining how he wasn't really sure how to use half of the things in it. "I uhh, have had to patch myself up a few times and gotten crazy looks from doctors and other people when I do get it looked at after landing. Apparently I do it, very wrong." He laughed.

"Yup, the ship was left to me from a passed friend. The last thing he asked was to make sure I kept it going. And here she is, still afloat."
She smiled softly, Turning the corner's of her pink lips gently towards the sky. Curiousity towards the passed friend, but right now wasn't the time for background information. The Kildeer was her main quest, well for the moment at least. "Well, It looks like you've done pretty good.. She looks to be in really good shape!" the words were the honest truth. For just being cared by one fellow the ship was in really good condition, Well not that she knew bunch about ship's.. but it looked decent enough to her.
"Welcome to my humble abode,"
She gave a soft laugh before following him inside. Hazel optics took the time to scope out each nook and cranny, Brain remembering the path to each of the different rooms. Yup, She wouldn't get to terribly lost, Maybe just the first day or so. As they walked through the hallway's, She couldn't help but miss the pictures of Lioness' being pulled off the wall's. This was odd.. perhaps he just liked Lions? The thought of him even being of the Were race was well, just not thought of. Though it wouldn't change her view on him.. Simply she'd just ask probably a bunch of questions. What was it like? Was it a totaly different person, Your were self? Oh boy, Would she talk his ear off then.. Well not in the annoying sort of way, but just in the friendly curious sort of way.
It was alittle hard not to miss him skip over one Room, Perhaps his own room he wished to keep in secrecy. Oh well, She just carefully remembered where his room lay so she wouldn't accidently disturb him. She smiled brightly as they enetered the Medical bay. A home away from Home really. She immedietly ran into the room, Her finger's slowly going over each bottle on a rack to the side of the room.. Her hazel eye's reading each label, Figuring out the layout of the room and where everything was, Was well perhaps one of the most important things. His words again pulled her away from her own little world, her face warm again as it rested on his scruffy face..
"I uhh, have had to patch myself up a few times and gotten crazy looks from doctors and other people when I do get it looked at after landing. Apparently I do it, very wrong."
There was that laugh.. Oh so much more then that smile of his. His laugh made her heart seem to skip a beat, Her chest heaved in effort to catch her breath.. Had she even been holding her breath? "Well you don't have to worry about that no more, I'll be the one patching things up around here from now on... Well If you'll have me?" she tried to be as sweet as she could, Which wasn't to hard. Oh how badly she wanted this job.. She loved the ship, everything about it. Except the lonely atmosphere of the insde.. but hopefully she'd help that situation a bit. and not to mention well, Terence was kinda growing on her. In a friendly sort of way.. Right.

"I would love to have you-" He stopped realizing how that probably sounded. It was a classic moment of not really thinking about what he said before he said it. And he couldn't help but make a small snicker at his own comment. "Sorry... You'd probably be helping me so I wont end up killing myself with my failure in medical tools." He added finishing what he was originally trying to say. He hoped that didn't make things awkward. Many people would have probably just stared blankly at him which just made things worse.
He turned to one of the cupboards and pointed at a few different kinds of pain pills. "These, I'm not supposed to mix these am I?" Someone could finally explain some of the human medications to him, it was great. The last time he had taken medication he must not have read the directions well because he clearly ended up partially stoned or something. He wasn't quite sure what he did but it was a weird experience.
"I'm not exactly up to par with huma-" He paused again. Ah... I did not just say that did I? Here we go a again... Think before you speak you stupid cat! He growled at himself in his head and then tried to save himself, "err... this stuff."

"I would love to have you-"
Classic line of a dude, Not thinking before they speak. Well it was alright, she gave a soft chuckle letting a tanned hand run through her locks of hair. Things were definatly going to be interesting around here, Probably they were going to be funny times, perhaps a few awkward moments, but it was great. It kept her mind of her Father, and on better things.
"Sorry... You'd probably be helping me so I wont end up killing myself with my failure in medical tools."
As he continued, she began rummaging around in some of the other medical supplies stacked around the room. "Well I hope so!" she chuckled out softly, Turning to face him with a soft smile before turning to read a label on a small medicine bottle. Anti Inflammatory.. That could deffinatly come in handy! She gently placed it on a shelf where it could be in easy reach..
"These, I'm not supposed to mix these am I?"
She turned on her heel's and moved to where he was, She gently picked up the bottles and inspected them quickly.. "Nope. Take two pills of one bottle only.. If you mix them you could overdose or just go on a trip for a bit." She felt great, Finally being able to explain things to someone, Put her knowledge to the test.. Well without being graded on it.
"I'm not exactly up to par with huma-" Curiously she turned to face him "Not up to par with.. Human stuff?" she questioned lightly. Her face was not one of anger or anything bad. Just curious, she just wanted to know.. Was he human? he sure looked human.. He acted human. Hell he even smelled like human! Wait.. what did a human even smell like? She caught herself rambling on.. Before he spoke again. She gave a soft chuckle and moved closer to him, Gently she poked his chest "So,Ya human? Or not?" she giggled softly. So what if he wasn't.. Finally she'd get to meet a new Race, well maybe.

He clenched his teeth a bit frustrated with himself that he let something like that slip so easily. "I uhh... No, I'm really not," He had a bit of a don't hate me look on his face. He was a bit concerned it would maybe change her opinion on staying. "I'm a were, actually... I hope that doesn't change anything."
He walked a bit more into the middle of he room. "I generally keep it a secret in these areas, Some humans aren't exactly friendly to us so, it's better for business if they just don't know." He'd show her if he had too, but it wasn't exactly and easy thing to watch. The shifting of a human body to an animal wasn't pretty in any way shape or form. It also meant stripping down to pretty much nothing to avoid the tearing of clothing as it didn't change with you no matter how much you wanted it too. He did it often when alone, but it was a little different changing for an audience.
He stood there with a hand over his face feeling kind of stupid. He wasn't expecting her to completely flip, she didn't seem like that kind of person. Which he was glad for.
