Starting fresh [2430-1-1-Sun 9pm]

Terence hadn't eaten since he landed, which really wasn't that long ago, so he didn't have a big problem waiting around for food. But he kept hearing Celyn's stomach and could tell she wanted food as soon as possible. Where was the waiter boy? If he did anything to my food...

Celyn's reaction to his partial slip was kind of funny. He wasn't sure why he was having such a hard time keeping something so simple down. He usually had no problem keeping his secret, maybe it was because he'd been traveling alone for a while and was used to not having to hide stuff from anyone.

He finally took the bottle from his mouth to reply, "Yes and no? I'm not from this area in particular but I come around here all the time..." That was vague enough, was it not? He could have come from the other side of Terra for all Rudy knew. And he wasn't lying to keep his secret, just not listing details.

Just as Terence spoke the waiter finally rounded the corner, First placing Rudy's burger down infront of him, Then Celyn's and lastly Terence's. He gave a smile at Terence and then readied himself to leave "You need anything else?" he asked softly, Glancing at each one..

Celyn shook her head no, and took a sip of her coke while inspecting her burger. Checking to make sure it was free of any Mustard or Ketchup, Ick. It appeared fine, so she glanced around at everyone else, Catching Rudy's question she smiled softly popping a frie into her mouth as she did so.

"Actually I am, Born and Raised here in this very town." she stated softly. Leaving out the nitty gritty stuff that neither really needed to know, Like her father or lack of a home.. Except the Kildeer. Yup, She had a place to lay her head at night finally.

So Antheia, Hmm. She couldn't wait for their trip to Nox.. It would be her first time of Terra and she really couldn't wait "Was Antheia as beautiful as they say?" she asked softly.. She'd seen pictures of the grass and tree's, So unlike here. That would be some place to just escape this metal town. Maybe one day she'd get to visit it to. Wouldn't that be nice.

He saw the little smirk on the waiters face as he dropped off the food. He shot him a little glare in return. Something definitely wasn't right. Oh boy, he did something... Ah there it is. Without even taking the top off the burger Terence spotted what was wrong.

"So kid, care to tell me why there's rat mixed in my meat?" Terence glance up with a mischievous grin. He could smell it. He despised rat meat, mice maybe, they were cleaner. But not rat. "You think I wouldn't notice?" He then flipped the top off the burger to show the pattys. There was even a slight color variation between the two meats to prove. "You should have just spit in it like a normal kid would have," he laughed.

Finally the food had arrived. He was given his burger first followed by the other two. He eyed the burger, mouth watering. He nodded at what the other two had answered his question with.

"Oh yes, Antheia is a gorgeous wonderland. Forests, fields of grass, mountains, just about all the amazing natural beauties of the old Earth." Rudy had only heard tale of the ancient planet of Earth. "It's easy to get lost in the scenery. Not to mention the species that live there. The Elves, Fauns, and most amazing, the Centaurs. Magnificent people they are."

He then thought about living on Antheia. Even though Rudy didn't like being on one planet for too long, Antheia could be an exception.

The kid scratched at his neck and glanced around "I.. Uhh.. There's no rat in there.." he stuttered out as he nervously shifted on his heels. Not even wanting to look Terence in the eye, Let alone the pretty girl and the other Man. Just at the right time his Manager came by, Stopping at the table with a smile he glanced around the table.. Seeing the burger and the displeased look of the Gentlemen he took a good look at the Kid "Sir, Is there something wrong with your food?" He asked kindly, All the while glaring at the kid.. Who at this point just turned his head the other way, Sweat beading on his forehead.

Celyn, Curious as to how he could tell inspected the burger.. how in the world did he know it was Rat? Well the answer was rather clear, Eating meat all your life you'd probably notice the difference in meat.. She made a nasty face and peeked at her own Patty. It was clean, Not the same color that Terence's was. "How sickening.. Rat meat?" she stated a bit over dramatically.. Hey why not get some real food for free!! "What the hell are you running here?" she asked the Manager..

The manager stood straight again.. His eye's burning into the kid "Go back into the Kitchen.. I'll deal with you later.." his words were hard and full of malice. As the kid left, the manager turned back to the group "I'm really sorry, Please let me take this away from you.. Please all the beer and drinks you want are on the house And I shall bring out whatever you want on the house for dinner!" His worsd were kind, as he wrote a little note and gave it to Terence "Here, Go to the bar just over there and get this girl a drink, and get as much as you want.. and don't worry about that Kid.. I'll take care of my son myself.." He smiled, Patted Terernce on the Shoulder and headed back to the Kitchen.. His yelling could be heard if you listened carefully.


Celyn smiled, "Mmm Free dinner! It never tasted so good!" she chuckled softly, Popping another fry into her mouth. She smiled at Rudy, Catching his words after the Manager left "Wow.. I would love to visit Antheia one day.. Meet at the Race's.." she stated softly.

"Ah haha! Well he got what was coming to him, you don't mess with my food." he laughed hearing the yelling. He probably just got the kid fired, which felt fantastic. "Besides, the word free just makes everything even better," He smiled happily. He was in a good mood again. He ordered a new burger without the worry of anything being put into it.

Realizing he was probably coming off as quite the jerk, he turned his attention back to the original topic. "I've only been to the areas on Antheia where they let you hunt. Otherwise I'm always on the move delivering stuff to people so I haven't had a proper amount of time to just sit and relax."

Celyn chuckled herself, Finding it funny that the kid came walking out all sad and left the restaraunt, Well not before giving Terence one of the meanest look's she'd seen in awhile. But she wasn't going to linger on it, Instead she turned to Rudy and Terence with a warm beautiful smile.

Wow, Both of them had been to Atheia, How badly she wanted to go! Well she just wanted to get off this planet itself, Get away from here and start somewhere new. Do new things, and put her medical experience to work out on the field, Or space. She couldn't wait to meet his family, See the world he came from and the type of life he had. There was so much that she couldn't wait to do!

Her tummy gave a soft growl reminding her of its meal sitting on the table, So she munched on her burger, Eating as much as she could of it, and quite a few of her fries. Finished and quite full, she sat back and just listened to the two guy's talk, and waited for them to enjoy their own meals. .

Rudy was kind of distraught at the nerve of the waiter. He had no good reason to mess with their food, except the whole running into him and making him go get drinks two times and Terence cuddling up to the girl he clearly was attracted to... but other than that, there were no good reasons.

He was also weirded out that Terence could tell it was rat meat in the burger. Free food was nice though. He joined in laughing with Terence. He liked it when dumb people get what's coming to them. He deserved to get fired.

Rudy could easily get along with Terence and all of his mischievous behavior. He enjoyed making people who did stupid things to him pay. Not like anything serious like killing or physically hurting them.

"I never had enough time to sit and relax either, but I made compromises because of the beauty." This conversation was getting a little boring. Antheia was an amazing place but he wanted to talk about something else. "What have you been up to lately?"

"Just finished a delivery earlier today, and picked up this bundle of joy along the way," He smiled at Celyn, "Other than that I've been flying around doing random things." He thought it was a rather productive day compared to most, where he'd just lay around and do nothing.

"So, Rudy, you looking for any jobs or anything?" He asked curiously and took another swing of his beer. A new waiter brought over a new burger for Terence and he thanked the man as he dropped it off. He gladly sank his teeth into it. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Listening was always something she was great at, Listening to one's needs and fulfilling them the best ways possible. So listening to the two guy's talk wasn't a big deal. She rather enjoyed it.

She was sure Antheia was a beautiful place, but she couldn't see it right now so the subject was boring her. Her hazel eye's zoomed around the room, It was getting even slower in the place. More and more of the Human's were leaving saying their goodnight's and parting way's. Some just moved to the bar, where they drank away their sorrows or just to have a good time.

Terence was such a goofball, she chuckled as he spoke of picking her up along the way. She sort of pushed herself into him if you will, ^-^ but things were working out for the better. He'd already shared so much information with her, and she felt that well he trusted her far more then any other Human around.

When the waiter came and dropped off Terence's food she asked for a new soda, and then became quiet again.. Listening intently as Terence asked about Rudy's job situation. She had finally realized she'd been snuggled up with Terence, so she scooted over a bit, Letting him have some room to enjoy his dinner. She flashed him a smirk and waited to hear what Rudy had to say..

He finally took a bite of his burger and it was great. The patty was nice and juicy. The way he liked it. Some other burger restaurants made the burgers dry and burnt but this one was perfect. He waited until he was done chewing to speak. "Oh do you have a ship?"

He wiped his face with a napkin. "I might start looking for a job to pilot a ship. Bigger than my little shuttle I'm using now. Are you looking for a pilot for your ship?"

He swallowed the bit of food in his mouth and nodded. "I do have a ship, and so far it's just me and Celyn here." He didn't mind the extra space She had given him but also didn't mind her being close. He flashed a small smirk back to her.

"If you wanted to, when we're done here I can show you around the ship," he said. Having a pilot would be nice, that way he wouldn't constantly be stuck in the cockpit while Celyn would be sitting around with nothing to do. Things were working out better than he had hoped.

Celyn could see him smirking back, and turned her eye's away from him with a grin. He was to cute, in his charming little way. Even if he was a were, she could see herself having fun with him in the near future, He would surely keep things interesting aboard the ship!

Speaking of a pilot, Celyn hadn't even thought about that. If it had just been her and Terence she'd be left alone to wander around the ship. And who know's what kinda trouble she'd get into that way. With a pilot it would mean more time with Terence.. which wouldn't be bad at all. Great, So Terr Bear here would have a Medic and a Pilot. Gosh, Today had to of been a great day!

This was guy talk, Something she to be honest could be the least bit interested in, Well other then the more time with Terr bear part. So she cleaned up her area, Wiping any fallen food and put it back into her little food plate. Threw her napkin and such into the plate, and took to Sipping her coke. She'd never get to sleep now! Which was her own fault, but she didn't mind.

Rudy scarfed down his burger rather quickly. He hadn't eaten in nine hours. So he hoped he didn't gross anyone out. "Well that'd be great. I like seeing new ships," He was getting antsy now. He wanted to see the... what was it's name? "What's her name?"

He finished the last sip of his appletini and silently burped. He pounded his chest as the gas came out. He wiped his face again. Waiting for the answer to his question.

"Her name? Kildeer. She's a good ship, got her from a friend." Terence smiled. He remembered the good times he and Kyle had had before the incident on Nox. Besides his family and a few friends he really didn't have many good memories from his home planet.

He finished off his burger and downed the last of his beer. He wanted another one but decided it was better he didn't. He didn't need to be tipsy if he was going to show someone around his ship. It could possibly end in disaster.
