Eli blinked as the two cats growled at each other. Well great, they were talking in cat speak. He only hoped they weren't secretly planning something different. Maybe while they were distracted he should flee... but fleeing was so not very cool. Hmm.
As the male cat hopped down from the tree, Eli started backing up very slowly, weighing his options. He'd really hoped that he would have stayed in his other form. At least he would have been something to look at. "Niiice kitty..." Eli continued to back away as the Were growled at him.

Chase knew this kid would be easy to take out, but where was the fun in that? He decided to just knock him around a bit. Kind of like your stereo typical kitten playing with a ball of yarn. He reached out and batted at his leg to knock him down. No claws yet, just a little swat to the back of the knee is enough to take someone off balance.
This would be more fun if Terence had been around. The two were always causing trouble together and often went out and picked on a few stray Vampires who decided to venture out too far. The two would push them around and usually end them after they got bored. Some would think it was cruel but it was a constant thing that happened. The Vampires did it to the Weres and so the Weres sometimes did it back.

Eli dodged the paw bat with a simple hop backwards. "So, you pick me over your girliefriend, hey? Promising..." he cocked his head to the side, baring his shiny fangs in a mischievous grin.
He could run. But he knew they would be just as fast as him. And running from your own prey? So not very attractive. He was antsy, though. The sun was going to start showing itself and it was not. fun. to be out when it did.
He did a quick survey of his surroundings. Okay, maybe a tree. He quickly reached up for a branch to pull himself back up into the treetops.

'Back to the tree's eh? I can do that.' He glanced up. Did he not know? Jaguars are great at tree climbing. He stretched out, dug his claws into the tree and pulled himself up with ease. The only problem with staying in his animal form was you didn't get the joy of the verbal part. He could mouth off if he wanted but it wasn't like anyone other than another were could decipher it from the mixed growls and roars that they heard.
He positioned himself on a thicker branch and leaped straight at the Vampire. Even if they fell out of the tree, it wasn't big enough of a fall for a serious injury.

Eli didn't quite manage to get to the next branch before the Were had followed him up and leaped at him. There was a surprising moment when the cat crashed into him and they tumbled to the ground with a crash. Eli winced, being the one to land on the bottom with the cat's weight on him.
"OW FIK!!" he shouted in annoyance as pain shot up his back. Second fiking time falling out of a tree in ten minutes. He was going to be sore forever if he got out of this one. Within seconds of landing he tried his best to think fast before the cat could recover, but unfortunately Eli had far more recovering to do than the cat who'd used him as a soft landing.

The hit to the ground wasn't that bad, most of the fall was broken by the vampire and good balance. Chase grinned again taking advantage of the boy's response and the fact that he would be slower to recover. He changed back to his human form, grabbed the collar of the vampire's shirt and swung him against a tree, holding his arm against his neck with just enough force so he could just get enough air.
"You realize, when you follow enough of us around you're eventually going to find the few that are willing to put a stop to it." He snarled, "Now. I can hold you here till that wonderful little sun rise trickles over the trees. I can't imagine how painful that would be, or, I can let you go..." Currently Chase was leaning more towards the sunlight option, as he was quite tired of the vampires picking off the prey. But this boy could possibly prove entertaining in the future.

Eli couldn't help but grin widely as the were changed back to human form. "Now that's more like it! Look at you all sultry and-whooa!" he couldn't help but flail a little as he was thrown against the tree and pinned there. If his back wasn't broken yet...
He bit back the pain shooting up his spine as he did his best to look the Were in the eyes. Those dark, angry, yet totally hypnotizing eyes.. He licked his lips at the Were threatened him, finally smirking. "Are you asking me out? Cause I've heard watching the sunrise together is totally romantic."

She'd tried everything to unlock the stupid padd that she'd stolen from Chase. Even right down to almost hitting it with a rock, before she remembered that would probably just break it. That wouldn't be much use to her broken.
So she'd tracked him down, following his scent--and cursing the fact that she didn't have a wolf's sense of smell--finally spotting him deep in the forest with some other guy. Whatever, he didn't matter. Excitedly, she ran for them the minute she saw him through the bushes.
"UNLOCK THIS RIGHT NOW, CHASE!!" she yelped, diving towards him for another tackle.

Chase's eyebrows twitched slightly at the vampire's words. He wasn't really sure how to react to that. He was... hitting on him? While he was in control of whether or not he'd survive? This kid had some issues to workout. He was about to ask something when the sudden yelling demand that came from the side forced his attention elsewhere.
Once again the crazy was on the loose, and had managed to take him down. Chase was too focused to notice her scent before it was too late. He tumbled over as she hit him and the vampire boy was freed.
"What the fik?!" He snapped and rolled onto his back from the pain in his side. "What is wrong with you?! I'm in the middle of something! for fik's sake woman!" Why was she still following him? Did she have any clue what time it was? Her sense of crazy clearly can't tell time and here Chase thought he'd get some peace from her for a while by being out when she should be asleep. Boy was he wrong.

He was immediately yelling at her as he shoved her off and got up. She climbed to her feet, uncaring about his words. They didn't matter, anyway. Neither did sleeping or eating, for that matter. Not when such important things like contacting her boyfriend were on the line!
She waved the padd in his face forcefully. "This isn't funny anymore, Chase! Unlock this so I can talk to him!"

Chase took a deep breath to keep himself from tearing her head off, which come to think of it would be very satisfying at the moment. He hit the padd from her hands and stared her down. "Why can't you just wait two days?!" He put two fingers up to her face like she was blind. "In two days you can see him for fiks sake! Go ruffle his mane and shit, I don't care! Just stop, following me!" Though in reality he did care, he was just too frustrated to properly filter the words coming from his mouth.
"Fiking lion... I'll kill him for this..." he mumbled then more clearly added, "Just a moment to be alone and do what I want... For once! Is that too much to ask?" Pretty soon he'd probably go crazy himself if he had to put up with much more.

She would have pouted if the news that Terence was going to be back hadn't suddenly been embedded into her skull. Two days? TWO DAYS!? She squealed in delight, suddenly thrilled beyond belief.
"Really?? Ohhhh Terence is gonna be back! Yay!!" she did a little happy dance. "Ohh thank you Chase! Ohh! I have to get ready! Do you think I should cut my hair? Ohh! Eee!"

Eli felt that smug feeling of satisfaction as he watched the Were's face turn confused and slightly offput at the same time. So, the guy was straight. Good to know. Very good to know. Eli smirked and reached his hand out, ready to grab--
And out of nowhere, a girl came flying into the picture, knocking the Were completely to the ground. Eli blinked in total surprise, suddenly having his throat and body free. Where in the world did she come from??! Not that he was complaining, but still...
It was clear that she was someone who the other Were wasn't happy about seeing, so he couldn't help but stand and stare at them both for a minute, watching the exchange in amusement. He blinked, watching them both back and forth. Two days. Mane. Fiking lion. Eli's memory flashed across the face of the hunky Were-Lion Genevieve had kept captive and all to herself some time ago. Could it have been him?? Could that have been the handsomely gorgeous Lion Boy??
His eyes shifted to the padd now laying on the ground. Was that a way to contact him? One of the higher up Vampires of the house had one of those, given to him by a human in order to keep track of blood transfers and sales. None of the other vampires of his house had them. Eli wondered if he could even figure out how to work it. Didn't matter anyway... It seemed important to the girl, so he wanted it.
He decided to take advantage of the moment while the two were still in their discussion and sloooooowly bent down, making it look like he was rubbing his back in pain, just in case. Then in a flash he grabbed the padd from the forest floor and dashed off into the trees.
fik... here comes the back pain.. he thought as he disappeared into the forest, trying his best to ignore the bumps all over his body. He had to get back to the house before the sun rose or it was curtains for his complexion.
And dammit, he really loved his complexion.

"I don't care if you cut your hair or not... Scat! I was in the middle of something with-" He paused and scanned the area. The vampire was gone. Great. "Never mind..." He looked around in the grass for the padd. It was gone too. "That sneaky little..."
Then it hit him, he had told Crystal Terence was coming back. He wasn't supposed to do that. His eyes widened and he covered his mouth. Oh boy... He spilled, and now had no way to warn Terence now that the eInker was gone. Fantastic.
He quickly changed and took off home to grab some pants so he could head to the space station. Someone there had to have something to contact Terence with, and this was an emergency.

She should have left! She should have turned around and just run in the direction she was heading to before. Nothing bad would come out from there, she would get few nasty stares, but that was nearly every day problem for her. Still, she should have left when she had a chance to leave, but it was far too amusing to watch whole craziness going on with other were playing with vampire. The feeling of being left out was rather strong in her, but at some point something switched in Selena’s mind and she started thinking that maybe she could use vampire for something more then just simple amusement. Maybe she could use him for something far more interesting to her, but by the looks of it the other were was going to have his way with the vampire and that was it. Poor creature was as good as dead for sure, she would never admit to anyone but watching vampire getting beaten like that didn’t bring anything positive in her mind.On the other hand Selena was so good at lying herself that this idea was easily pushed away, as complete nonsense.
Small growl released itself from her throat as a strange woman appeared and tackled the Chase. Almost instantly Selena pulled one huge break in her mind to not jump from the tree straight on the second were she was seeing that evening. In her mind the woman, who ever and whatever she was, was acting rather unhelpful and ,well, idiotic. Tackling someone while they were busy, annoying was very weak word and if it was her the other person would be long dead by now. Amusingly Chase didn’t attack the woman, nor did he in any way showed she was representing real danger for him, but amount of yelling which occurred was quite enough for Selena to lose interest in those two in time to see vampire going low toward ground and picking some kind of black rock from grass, now that was more interesting maybe he will… The thing started running so fast that it took Selena one second to long before she reacted. Now that was fun!
She didn’t try to jump on the ground and chase him by running as crazy while trying to pirouette around trees, instead she took the higher ground. The vampire was probably far too interested in running away home then in thinking someone rather then big scary were was chasing after him. Couple of times Selena felt her heart dropping into her ‘heels’ after almost missing whole branch, the bloody thing was fast and she really needed to catch up on him. Well there was only one way to stop the stupid thing. Black cat made her muscles work as fast as she could and then jumped straight toward running vampire. She just needed to tackle him on the ground or stop him before he reached end of the tree line. Here I come!
