Eli shoved the padd deep into a pocket of his jacket as he hurried through the forest, worrying now about the time. It was beginning to get brighter and his heart was pumping as fast as it could to get him out of the forest.
He'd heard things about Terra... that there were places that the Sun never reached because of human expansion. That appealed to him greatly. But he'd also heard that Terra, and many of the other planets, had even more intense Sun during the day in the places that it reached. It was a scary thought... a vampire could probably get completely incinerated in the kind of sunlight he'd heard about. Thankfully it wasn't that intense on Nox during the day. Just... extremely painful.
The treeline came into view, the swampy field not far after it. It was past that field that the mansions started. Thankfully his was one of the first in the line of them. He was totally going to make it! He was going to--
Something slammed into his back and he yelped, tumbling to the ground. "OW! FIK!!"
